1. If you claim leadership for an event, make sure you "end" it. Sometimes folks leave it active.
2. If you claim participation for an event, make sure that after you click the Claim Selected Objectives button, there are checkmarks under the Status column (which sometimes fails to display, not sure why). Most importantly is look for your name in Participants: on the left side of the claim page.
3. If you forgot to come to the website, or make event claims or whatever, miss your email and eventually get removed from your in-game guild rooms... Please understand that its nothing personal: YOU ARE NOT BEING KICKED FROM THE GUILD!! This is the only method of making sure that everyone who wants to be a part of the Family, both past, present and future, get an equal chance to do so. Just hop on the website, click the "Yea I'm Here!" buttons and you'll be back using /g1 in no time.
Its like this because these games decided that they need a max member capacity for their guild system and when you have 1000+ active members who all want to fit into a single 500 player capacity guild... well, a guild leader has to get creative and micro-manage their member's activity, even though they hate to do it.
Just consider it the price of wanting to be in such a wonderful family of fellow players. ;)
