I've been bouncing around between FTP, older MMOs and desktop games looking for something to engage me... nothing does! I guess my DNA was rewritten during beta 3, and now I'm only FFXIV compatible!
Not a bad thing, since I'm getting lots of sleep and exercise and my house is sparkling clean for a change. =(^.^)/

I can still mess with GW2, but mostly trying to get in some events and just messing with dailies, etc. Live event stuff only holds me interest for so long. So there more just for the family than anything. Definitely find what I liked about Neverwinter to be meh now and it was getting that way due to their poor setup on crafting and the money sink issue for good stuff. Also way too many currencies to worry about let alone some that are nigh on useless. ::chuckles::
Definitely found FFXIV to be the combo of a game that I really do enjoy because I am definitely more of a PvE junky than a WvW one even if I do have fun with family doing that in GW2.
Though what I really accomplished since the end of the beta is around 1200 or more pages of reading in two big ole Tom Clancy novels (Still have 400 or so to go to finish the 2nd one) mixed in with gaming and other things.
Been playing civ v and the new expansion until FFXIV opens back up...so bored...
The waiting is horrible! It can't get here fast enough! And, the other games out there just don't measure up! :(
I too found it hard to get back into any other games whilst waiting, so I've been preparing house and garden so I can take time to play obsessively when phase 4 starts!
Raised garden beds are weeded and mulched, laundry and linen closet are super organised, freezer is loaded with homemade microwave ready meals, dog is bathed and brushed, and hubby is forewarned of my planned excursion into Eorzea!
Yeah Shae - I am doing research for my next project early, clocking up a lot of volunteer hours, earning mega family points of awesome and reading ahead a lot for my semester papers. House is very clean, cat is feeling very looked after :P
The world can close the door on its way out for the first week of FFXIV and I will feel justified!
I've taken vacation on the week of early access, after release ill be working, but will have an entire week to play during EA - plus all the time during P4, plan to be close to 40+ by the time release hits lol
if I can hit 35 maxed out in 4 weekends I should be able to chug near it on P4/Early access...
I will literally be living in the character creator from the 1st of august, to the first second of P4 being online...
I got chills...nothing's fun any more...every other game sucks...all i do is read reddit and stare at screenshots all day.
I'm even so desperate for it, ill watch character creator videos and full screen it and pretend I'm controlling the mouse just so I can fool myself into thinking...oh hey...I'm on! I'm playing baby! this is awesome....
I want this game so damn bad...im gonna freaking explode...all i do is whine and complain to Chris and Hex and anyone else in raid call about it...I'm like a kid the week before they finally go to Disney world..
Please Yoshi! Give me FFXIV!!!! I need this game so badly...It's TEARING ME APART YOSHI!!!! (bonus for those that get the reference)
I can't wait to play either. I got just a taste a couple weekends ago (btw Thank you Connor) and now I am going through withdraws waiting for my next fix. I try to occupy my time with other games, but they also just don't do it for me. FFXIV cant come soon enough.
@Connor -- LOL. I was planning on spending some quality time with the character creator when it's released too. :)

Managing to handle the wait, but I just want to be able to have a couple days to DL the new client before we can actually play so I don't lose a day waiting for it to dribble onto my computer. LOL!
