Big Rift News Coming Friday

Greetings Everyone,
Just wanted to give you a heads up to watch the news on Friday. GDC (Game Developers Conference) is this week in SF and Trion shared some big news with the press which has been embargoed until Friday. Just this week Trion released:

This trailer reveals a new dungeon, adding new tradeskills (watch fog cry), a hint at a 3rd realm?, new storylines to play out, lots of intriguing news on PvP, and a "Whole zone that is a City". Hopefully we'll learn more friday.

Exciting!!

I saw this video the other day and it definitely piqued my curiosity :)

Those sketches for the new zone city, those look interesting. The 'more than two factions' thing sounds exciting and the new trade skills sound like they could have potential. I'll be happy when they implement golf.

Nice I might have to clear the fog out of my head and start playing again... If I can breathe that is longer than 5 minutes.

Really looking forward to this.

Its not very often that I don't see my enemies anymore. Its much better than it was.

This should be interesting to see what all is coming out. I've mostly been putzing around with the game now and mainly doing crafting and crifting to fill in stuff I want or marketplace orders (more the latter though I got my mage some stuff). Kinda glad this week has been one of those weeks where I've had less time to play only because I needed a little breather break. The world event doesn't interest me enough to have me working on it too hard. I guess I'm not into 'flair'. Hehe! Other than my candy canes so I can be a crazy dog to try and make tears pop faster for crifting!

For those of us not very well connected, what happened?

Embargo is lifted but it's the weekend. So chances are we wont find out till Monday unless massively posts something. Still nothing in the public test server area.

Hmm, these PvP changes may get me to try Rift again...
