Thank you everyone who participated and donated. The Extra Life Event raised over $1.2 million through this event. At last report Gaiscioch had donated approx $7,590.

This is pretty impressive for a fund raiser through a gaming community during an unstable economic period. I definitely enjoyed my time with you all yesterday. This guild continues to prove it is a family that cares about the community, not only in a game but definitely the real world, too. =)

The guild did a awesome job! I did not join the guild on Belmont as i played in the dev's guild but I did raise a little money. Do I still claim this? Oh and the customer service person we spoke to in our group we talked about the mentoring system. He really liked the idea and said he would pass it on. Doh just ignore this post please. I am on the donation page and missed that part your post. Playing 24 hour straight and being blonde not a good combination. Thanks, Rshiel

If you donated or played durring the event claim participation. I will be going off that events list of members to award credit. You have 6 days to claim participation. After that no more credit will be given. I will be parsing out the participation list not this Monday but the Monday after.

I was "Lostmoon" on Guardian, and I just wanted to say Thank You to all those who helped to make this event such a success and so much Fun! I had a blast and even managed to stay up the entire 24 hrs!

I was very much Dreamy after staying up the whole 24 hours but so glad I did. Now I'm awake and I want MMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! Thanks so much to Fog and all the Draios for their hard work, and to everyone that participated, that was awesome!! And for the kids!

I want to personally thank all my fellow insominacs ..I am still so tired I can hardly read this.. hehe I need some Meeeeaaaaaad. Not often a 67 year old can say they stayed up for 24 hours straight gaming for kids that were not hers....but I have 7 healthly and 14 healthly grandchildren and but for the grace of god go I amd mine and because I have been given much I too must give.. Thanks to all who participated and the tears I felt at the end wasnt for being tired but for the hope that some family would have the opportunity to again have a healthly baby or child. Congratulations to all who participated. I was there!! Blackjinn on Defiant side. I only got him to almost level 14, being graveyard worker thru weekend denied me any chance of going for the title. But!.... I am so proud to be a small part of the greater effort! To all fellow guildies who donated, played or earned the title, and I'm hearing some recaps of the night's furlong, and I salute you, all!! What greater cause than championing a child in need! Played on Belmont D-side as Calatha. Raised a small amount. I had a blast with everyone on vent. And thank you Fog for giving me the opportunity to lead a raid group during the Telara Saga. I can't wait for the next event like this. And if anyone remember me blabing about mid-terms before i started the event and a job interview after the event. I'd like to take this chance to say i did rather well on my exams and I got the job! Awesome weekend!!! True insomniac, been up for 38 hours straight. Okay. Bed. Now.

Great job guys. I had some confusion and other stuff that came up & didn't get to participate the entire time, and I was on the Trion team. I thought it was a great idea to game for charity, and I'm really proud to belong to a guild that was so well represented.

I was Chilz on D side. I met and played w/ some great people last night. I played a little over 24 straight hours. Couldn't have done this in another group/guild.

Rendi and I have a son that has received wonderful care and support from our local children's hospital. We were grateful for a chance to participate in a fundraiser to give back to an organization that has provided our family with hope. Thank you to everyone that participated in any way you were able to. So many children will benefit from your generosity.

So funny... I signed on today after being online all night on my main character here, and went to stillmoor to find some merchant, and I discovered a new area... *You have discovered Belmont* I laughed, and said the HECK I have! I've been VERY familiar with Belmont for at least 24 hours and 30 minutes! I had to chuckle. I'm tired, see ya when I get outta hibernation.

I had a great time!!! On Vent around 6:00 am we were supporting each other to make it happen. It was hard that last part to stay awake. Especially for some of us "cough" older folks. :D I love this guild and family. We really helped make a difference. How can we not be proud of that? Or how could we not be proud of each other here? Thank you all so very much for everything you did and contributed. and I learned to pvp!! woot!

I just had the best 24 hours of my live with some of the best people I have ever met. I am floored that we raised as much as we did all for a great cause. I played a gaurdian mage named Sheina and had a blast.

I had a blast and seeing so many who participated in such a worthy event was really touching, not only from our guild, but from all the others as well. For the most part wherever you looked what did you see? < Extra Life Defiant or Guardian > < Gaiscioch (G or D sided) > I was in wf's and I'd see a guardian with that tag and I'd think.. aww he/she's a good guy too .. and I'm gonna keeeeel him ...... rawr! but in a nicer than normal pvp kind of way .. just because <3 I had to leave the main vent chat after a while and I hope no one got offended, it's hard to explain the hows and whys my Aspieness causes me to need to get away from the crowd, I'm not anti-social so much as .. selectively social and can't help but be, if I wasn't, I would totally stay away from people altogether LOL (no lie!) So I hope you all didn't take it as a slight! And thanks to Eeers for understanding this and hanging out with me. That being said.. I DID get away just in time, as I saw in G-chat that I was able to avoid the massive amounts of singing and other insomniac like disorders that cropped up over the 24 hours in vent .. Whew! muahahaha (Though I hope someone thought to record such deviance, it certainly would have been fun to listen to at a later time! hahaha ) Psst .. I GOT A SERVER FIRST! (looted some blue pants in a wf) ha! too cool! <3

ROFL! I got tagged in Bella's first screenshot to the point she has me targeted and you can see me typing out my confusion of where I was supposed to be. I was getting punchy already by that point. Great times had by all for sure. And Vengeful I was on vent when you did that. That was another good funny from the latter part of the event yesterday when we were all just jabbering together no matter what server we were on at the time. I also know I helped confuse someone for the planar vendors and it was this morning when I woke up and said, "DUH! I was thinking Defiant and they were Guardian!" By that time I was definitely dain bramaged. Weeeee!

Good work guys! I tagged it for participation, had donated a bit to Fog, think I tagged it with Arilou, because I can never remember which character I am playing... But very good job all. I wish I could have played, but timing wasn't right. Pesky vacations. :)

I played Myraika on Gaiscioch na Nuada. Had tons of fun with all of you. Thanks to all you Defiants who played with and kept me entertained enough to stay awake the 24 hours straight. I was able to collect a small amount for donation and think it was for a wonderful cause.

The only place you should be claiming is the "Foghladha's The Telara Saga: Extra Life Event - SPECIAL EVENT". That encompasses the entire event. If You: You Donated a Dollar or More You Collected a Dollar or More Participated in the Belmont Gaiscioch or Gaiscioch na Nuada on Oct 15th. You claim participation for that event. I will be parsing and awarding people contribution points off of who has that event claimed. IF YOU DO NOT CLAIM THAT EVENT YOU WILL NOT GET CONTRIBUTION POINTS! Thats the only one you should be concerned with :).

I had the best time ever. Running across IPP with lots of level 10's and under was a blast, thank you Aisrine for leading us into fun deaths, exciting fights and an awsome event in Stillmoor. Had a blast, even at level 8! ROFL. Coming up on that PvP rift and all if us /flexing to the defiants was a hoot. I think they were afraid! NOT but probably surprised to see a band of noobs! lol I love this guild and my Gaiscioch Family, no matter what side you play, we are family. and it really showed on this event. Thank you again Fog for allowing us to participate for the children.

I had such an awesome time on Saturday. Running around with other newbies in IPP trying to stay alive, competing for all the beginner area quests when 30-40 people were there as well (at least it seemed like that many people were there). Fighting in WF with other guild members on both sides. LOL It was a great day even at 4:00AM when I was so tired. Selrina AKA Stormwisp for the event

Aww I feel bad I didn't get any screen shots! We were just logging off for some shut eye when the "seeing eye" announced "Drink MEEEAAAD and be MERRY" hehe good times! Telara Saga on Belmont went well too! Quite a few new faces joined us at the beginning which was nice to see. I love the screen shot that Caelee took. I'm the all back loner on the rock haha. Adalys is the all white noob in the middle. Prissy and Izzy thanks for the boss kills that led to the pirate hats "ARRRRR" :D I agree Caelee! It was nice to be a part of a fund-raiser for BC Children's Hospital. My sister spent many months there as a child beating cancer's butt! Happy to donate to such a great cause :) Pat (Adalys) and I were not in the Gaiscioch guild on Belmont but we were in the Extra Life Guardian guild - we still are at the moment. We did sign up on the Extra Life site and got donations. Please contact us if you are confused about our participation!

My company does a match, but I don't know if it's possible to claim on the Extra Life site since the check won't be cut until after December... otherwise, you could claim around $225 more or so. :)

I'm cautious to claim for the event. I was there for the 24 hours of charity play, but I was in Trion's defiant side guild because I spent the first few hours there. When I asked Foghladha if I would have to start over to keep my hours towards the title, he said to play it safe and stay in Extra Life Defiant. I'm also not sure if claiming is just for the rifts and such during the Telara Saga stuff. I popped in but didn't kill anything.

Guys please read this post. You do not need to be there for the full 24, you do not even need to be there if you earned donations. Everyone who contributed in some way to the overall success of the event claims everything. Your time is running out and I've said this 4 times now. If you don't claim within 7 days of the event it will be gone forever. Claim now or forever lose your points.
