an introduction: Invited last night, saying hello

Hi all,

I was invited last night by Olora, i just wanted to say hello and thanks.

Quick background: I just transferred to this server this week, i was playing on Sunrest, I just didn’t like getting ganked any longer so I came to this server on Monday.

I’ve been reading the Rift forums looking around at guilds, I came across this website and was impressed. So here I am.


In real life I'm a process engineer for a medical company near Boston Ma., a father of 2 wonderful boys (5 yrs and 1 yr) as well as a husband to an amazing woman.


In game, I'm a cleric with great inspirations to be a healer. I’m also leveling a mage because I like to make in game monsters die slowly with dots. I just hit 50 this past week, and I’m very new to the healing game, I’m hoping to get into T1's and the like after this weekend (I’m taking the family away for the long weekend).

My MMO history dates back to Ultima Online, then into the WoW launch, I left wow just before the Cata expansion then jumped into Rift when I found out about it.

i live near bawston, however I'm a Yankee's fan. I'm also a big NY Giants fan... those sports are just distractions until Hockey Season starts. 95% of the time I'm watching the Boston Bruins play hockey. i'm a huge Hockey fan! huge

In South Carolina now, but I'm a born lolbred Canucks fan and I *will* riot! And actually, my dad is a diehard BoSox fan, and I've been to Fenway as my aunt lives in Boston.

And perhaps more importantly, is SHE a Sox fan? .. if so I can understand you wanting to be a healer! :P GO SOX ... Though um yeah, not saying that too loud this year :(

However, you should not be admitting that out there or you might feel like that dude in the Avis commercials on YES Network. HA HA!
