What in the Crusty Crab is the Legendary Vault?
The Legendary Vault will contain Epic and Legendary Recipes, Weapons, and Armor. You will be able to donate Purple & Blue items & Recipes on both sides through our Designated Vault Managers for contribution credit. You will also be able to request these items through purchasing a "Legendary Vault Withdraw Credit".

In the backend, Were making Generic holders for each of the grades of items to simplify the process of handling purple and blue donations. Previously we had to manually enter in all items by hand each time one was donated. But with Trion's every changing items this is becoming a logistical nightmare. All members will be able to see into the Legendary Vault, purchase a credit and send an in game mail from the character you want to purchase an item with to one of our vault managers containing the name of the item you'd like to withdraw. Orders will be processed in the orders they come in. Once the Legendary Vaults are unlocked we will announce who the Vault Managers are.

DONATION CONTRIBUTION:
Uncommon Crafting Recipe - Green: 50 Contribution
Rare Crafting Recipe - Blue: 100 Contribution
Epic Crafting Recipe - Purple: 200 Contribution

Rare Item Donation - Blue: 75 Contribution
Epic Item Donation - Purple: 150 Contribution

TAKING ITEMS FROM THE LEGENDARY VAULT
We've decided to simplify this a bit. We're going to deploy the honor system on this one. Check the family structure page for allowances per rank.

RULES FOR WITHDRAW:
1. You must be able to use the item at the time of the Withdraw.
2. Item's taken from the vault must be USED on your current character.
3. Item's may not be used for Rune Breaking, Salvaging, or Auctioning.

CREDITS PER RANK
Saighdear & Gaisgeach: 1 Item Per Day
Seaimpin & Laoch: 2 Items Per Day
Ard Tiarna/Maithean: 2 Items Per Day

NOTE: Once Trion implements a "Withdrawal [x] per [y] days" system we will make Saighdear and Gaisgeach once per 14 days, and Seaimpin / Laoch once per 7 days, and Ard Tiarna / Maithean 1 per 3 days.

Again please do not clean out our vault. Right now were going to be weak to vault raiders and I'm hoping we wont have an issue. If we do we'll move it all site based and it will cost you all credits. Don't abuse the freedom.

HA HA! I might play Defiant way more just to well... be DEFIANT! Go underdogs! We DEFY you and your numbers! Nothing like good, FUN competition. ;)

Numbers Updated as of 12PM on 9/28

Being the analytial geek that I am, taking the numbers for the 9/28 12pm update here is some interesting facts. The Defiant side is 12.4% the size of the Guardian side. I'm assuming that the 2900 and 360 numbers are chars and there will be some statistical flux due to us altaholics that can't play more than one char at a time. =D That being said, we can see some of this flux in the Tithe alone. Defiants are averaging 33% the amount of the Guardians even if they are 12.4% the size. Of course, the Tithe is not the only way to put money in the coffers. Here's to both sides slamming this out with GUSTO! GO TEAM!

I've actually been pvping quite a bit lately, and I'm thinking of selling my wonderful Guardian Dishes with all proceeds going to benefit the Defiant side.. hmm they were quite a hit during the first Telara Saga, perhaps it's time for them to make a come back! Guardian a la Slain Chocolate Covered Guardian with Fae Sprinkles Roast Guardian, served with High Elf Blood Wine And my favorite .. Guardian Kabobs! A delicious combination of freshly slaughtered Mathosian, High Elf and Dwarf, run through with a skewer and lightly seasoned, then grilled to perfection over an open campfire. Best eaten as we sit, laugh, and sing songs of triumph, whilst happily downing a Fauksters or some sweet Berry Wine. Ah Good times!

It's not just alts that you have to take in account but also the number of inactive characters in each guild. If we were to filter out the characters who have not logged in for at least 2 weeks, I'm sure the numbers go down more for the Guardians than the Defiants. Hopefully, with the advent of the Planar Attunement system, there will be more money coming in because level 50's will now have the opportunity to grind and level again. Having a new world event will help, the last one was kind of dull.

Oh I know I did not account for inactive characters and all that. I was going by the obvious facts, but indeed I know I have 5 toons and one of them hasnt been logged on inawhile and I've been D side a lot more lately than G side. This is happening more because I got frustrated with Briseadh and needed a change of pace from some of the guardian stuff I repeated. ::chuckles:: Also I think I finally built a char that works with my play style and she happens to be on the D side. ::laughing:: Just looking at what the tithe difference was when it was known and posted you can tell more of the chars are active on D side than G side. Eithr way, both sides are running about the same speed to the end without letting much of a lead happen. Which is fine by me. Fun rivalry and it gets both sides something they need when they have the money to do it.

I think you've got Epic and Rare backwards Fog :D Also, are the majority of recipes found in the world BoE or BoP? I haven't found any yet, I'm assuming it picks up a bit more at level 50

We have a lot of recipes that can be traded. we see about 3 per week. Look at the contributions page

Can you remind us where to go to purchase a vault credit now that the vault is open on the Guardian side? :)

There is an item from the vault I wanted and I was able to withdraw it so I did. How do I pay for it? It's a purple tome. I haven't equipped it yet so I can return it if I am doing it wrong? Which I am pretty sure I must be. "legendary vault - yer doin' it wrong!" Seriously, honestly I am totally confused with your explanation except that it says pay for with vault credits? Are those the same as on the website? Who are the vault managers? Am I one because I can withdraw? I have a limit of 2 per day. (Also I grabbed a few corrupted souls for the next event.)
