Elsimer GP runs - when we get a full raid

Let's try this again. Short and sweet, we're going to be going into GP 3 days a week. Wednesday/Thursday/Monday starting at 6pm server time, going until 8pm server time. We will start forming up at 5:45pm server time, if I haven't heard from you by 6:05pm I'll assume you aren't coming.

There is a one week lockout that ends Wednesday mornings. You'll need 200 Hit/Focus, tanks will need 150 Toughness.

I'd be happy to heal (cleric) for this. Do i need omen sight for this?

Just an FYI, with the new patch coming, Warriors will now have a decent ranged DPS role, so don't let them pull that excuse on you anymore :) It does only about 10-15% less than melee, which is much better than the 40% less that it used to be.

Id like to give it ago I can DPS or Bard or if we cant fill the Cleric role my healer is raid ready. Sorry Elsimer forgot to mention Ill be using Switch whom is raid ready for this since you have Enoeht assigned. Not sure if it mattered or not for when you start invites.

you do not need Omen Sight to be considered for the GP raid - it just means you won't be able to get in by yourself. As long as at least one person in the raid has Omen Sight, the raid can get in. Since I have Omen Sight, we're safe on that front.

still need 4 more. With 1.3, the bosses should be dropping Marks of Achievement. Marks are the next "tier" of currency for buying raid gear (marks are to plaques as sourceshards are to planarite), so GP can now serve as a means of gearing up for GSB/RoS and eventually Hammerknell.

I'd like to go on Rhaeyn (Cleric). DPS or Off heals. Have both melee and range roles, also role with 2 battle rezzes. Not sure if you are planning to start this week or next. I won't be able this week, as I have family visiting from out of country.

I would like to do this with Nahli. I have MDPS, RDPS, Bard and tankish specs available. I am usually on nowadays leveling my mage, since we have so many rogues in the family. hopefully that toon will be ready soon as well.

I can go every Friday (although not this Friday) as Skron. I have 195 HIT as a melee DPS.

I'd like to go as chloro-raid heals, or DPS. Chloro gets a big change this patch, btw... can't raid heal and tank heal at the same time any more.

and that gives us a full raid! yay! Anybody else that wishes can continue to sign up and I'll add you to the reserve list. To recap, I'll be contacting all those currently listed in the raid to make sure the schedule is understood and to answer any questions. If all goes well, we'll see Gaiscioch taking down (at least a part of) GP on Monday!

emails sent, but I think I put 7pm server time instead of 6pm server time (I was thinking Mountain instead of Pacific). I'll try to contact everybody again with the correction but 6pm is still the correct time.

Hi Rayman here.I like to play as dps.I live on the rift.i am always present in the game.If i am offline,then it must be one of two things.i might be sleeping or working.

Is the first attempt going to be tomorrow (Monday) or Thursday?

first attempt will be Thursday, since the servers reset on Wednesday morning and since I'm still in the process of moving into a new apartment (fun stuff!). If I'm able to get on later tonight I'll send an ingame email to confirm.

we didn't quite get Anraak tonight - got him as low as 9% before a server lag took us out. We'll get him tomorrow! We had several no-shows, but we were able to find replacements after about half an hour. If you were signed up for 6/30 please let me know if you are still interested or not so I can update the list. Real life happens, but it'd be really helpful in planning.

No shows make me rage :P How hard is it to let someone know you cannot make it so they can find a replacement? Think of others people - of course rl is more important, but taking 5 seconds to let someone know the day before is really helpful to ensuring the group still runs (emergencies excluded of course). And if you are someone not into committing time and showing up it is very simple - do not sign up for runs, stick to being casual. I do not mean that in a bad way but there are many others we could give spots to if they know in advance to log on. You not showing up effectively screws that person out of a run sometimes. Thanks to everyone who has waitlisted for our raids- I admire your patience and really appreciate it, without you we would not down bosses. I have tried to be fair and rotate everyone in at least once so far!

I'm interested in be added as an alternate DPS mage though I can also go Chloro. Usually the only day I'm not available would be Wed though next week I'm going to be out of town Thurs-Sun.

I will (almost certainly) not be able to make it next Thursday or Friday. Elsimer needs a DPS to take my place - judging by the parses I looked at it shouldn't be difficult.

Nomad also has a GP raid coming up, and there are quite a few others that have spots. Right now, it'll be awhile before we have enough to make an attempt. Even though there is a week's lockout once you kill the first boss I would encourage all of you to sign up and participate in other GP runs until we can fill the roster here.
