Attention people that want to do dungeons but...

It came to my attention that some people want to get the gear that the dungeons drop, but they are for various reason not willing to do dungeon runs.

If your reason is:

That you don't know if you can.
Don't know what to do.
Don't want to deal with stressed out people.
Afraid of letting the group down.
Simply new to them and they look scary.
Don't have a cool bunny.
Other reasons that are valid to you.

Then Isador and I can provide guided tours of all the regular dungeons, so you can get your feet wet.

I aim to make all my runs as low stress as possible, we are here to have fun and enjoy the game, not get mad over silly stuff like dying ;)

We are both 50
Isador has a cleric and can function as my main healer or beat on stuff if someone wants to try out healing.
Booie has a warrior and normally runs main tank, but if you have a tank growing inside of you, then you give it a go and I can dps.
And has a 48 cleric if that works out better.

We can run any regular dungeon that is needed and only require that you are in the level range for them

/raises hand I'm level 45 and have only done RotF, FC, and LH once (and the time I went to LH, I was too young to contribute). I would love to do the dungeons just to see WTH they even look like! Wolf is a DPS mage.

I have yet to do Deepstrike Mines, Foul Cascade, and King's Breach, even though I am level 40. I would love to do an easy run like this for the first times. So sign me up! Also, I would like to come as primary healer cleric, as that is how I run in dungeons. My dps is pitiful. (This wednesday May 18 I will not be available.)

What I'd really be interested in is T1/T2 guided tours. ;-) That said, all I've done so far is normal AP/CC, and eRotF. I did manage to solo heal the latter in a LFD PUG with no calamities (well, none that were my fault, anyway ;-) ); but I was on tenterhooks the whole time, wondering if I'd be able to pull it off. So... just about any dungeon should be instructive, at least to learn the layout and what have you. And yeah, your list of reasons looks about right (just call me Mr. Monk :-) ), except I do have a cool bunny, so people often envy me. :-D

eRotF is arguable the hardest T1 dungeon so you should be good if you got through it. I hit my first T1 in 48+ crafted gear, if you run around and ask crafters to get some enchantments that every crafting profession makes, you should be more then able to do T1's.

I would love to do T1's too, but I'm not geared with t1 plaque gear, so they can be rough. Was trying to pug, but out of guild pug'ING can be like telling a girl that her butt does look big in those pants

We can do it at any time we all can, we can even go from one to the other on a. Weekend

I'll T1 with you anytime I'm on, though it looks like you already have the heal spot taken care of. I have 130 Focus and about 780 SP (plus Necrotic Rage which procs me an additional 60 SP seemingly about half the time). According to LFD my stats are plenty good to queue for T2, so even if we had to 3/5 guild and PUG the rest, we might be able to convince that girl that she misunderstood you. ;-) Edit: added details

I am definitely interested in doing dungeons!

You don't need plaque gear to do expert T1's, especially after the 1.2 patch. A few of us just 3 manned it past the 2nd boss. As long as you have some gear from AP & CC normal and some crafted gear, then you will have little trouble in there. If you have questions or advice then you can always message me in game. And if I'm not in some raid dungeon, I'll go with you guys. Whether you'd actually want me to come is another story though. ;0

I'd be interested in running some dungeons as well. The only problem I may have is time. With summer rolling around, I'll be going to an earlier shift at work. I would be interested in weekend dungeon delving though.

@Tetharel. Isador don't plays as much as I, so I can always use healers :).

I have added an event to the calender for this Friday, then depending on who we have we'll see what dungeon to run.

Wow... so Im not the only one not doing dungeon. I am very interested. Finding a block of time can be difficult though... But count me in sometimg Treaa

Anola and I have done a bunch of grouping in EverQuest and World of Warcraft, but have not done so much in Rift. We are both level 50 now, and still have level 40 dungeon quests to knock out. I appreciate you reaching out to those of us who are a bit tentative, Booie. We'll defiantly take you up on this!

First off a big thank you for making this generous offer. Perhaps you'll turn some of the reluctant to at least casual raiders with some confidence boosting runs. For me personally, I was thoroughly broken of any desire to do dungeons by repeated miserable experiences in other games so I haven't seen a single one in Rift. To this day the thought of joining a PuG makes my stomach queasy. I see T1 mentioned a few times here and since I have no intention of end-game raiding (at this time *shrugs* who knows with a few good runs under my belt what might happen), that level doesn't interest me. However, if you plan some casual, normal level runs for fun then I would be interested. I'd bring my lvl 50 dps mage.

We had an excellent run of Expert FC last night, with Booie at the helm. While it was not entirely without incident (of the sort you naturally get when people are trying roles they're not used to in places they're not used to), much fun (and even some loot) was had by all. :-) I think I was down to 30% when I called a combat medic before we finally downed the final boss... though one of those deaths was that laugh-out-loud moment where you're resurrected into the middle of combat and dead again before you even see yourself standing. I got more than my plat's worth for my repair bill in fun and fellowship. ;-) I encourage anyone who's even remotely interested to take Booie up on his kind offer and participate in his groups when you can.

Add me to the list of folks interested in running T1/T2s. DPSer, and willing and able to chloro heal pretty well (although I'm not as dedicated to it as Ashalit and others).

I would be interested in running low level dungeons with you. My Warrior is lvl 21. Eventually I would like to learn tanking.... but I may not have the situational awareness need to be a good tank. :-( Anyway today I ran my first dungeon (RotF) under Fairybella's tutalage. My best time would be on the weekend.

I'm still interested. I hope to be online sometime when you are running them. There are still dungeons I haven't seen, even at level 47.

I have been advised by counsel that since I am now level 50 I no longer have a valid excuse for not fighting in dungeons. For fun I melt faces, dot and try to out dps the pyro husbandguy.

Sounds like I need to add this as a recurring event in the calendar, Fridays are best for me if Isador is going with us. But frankly if anyone is wanting to run a dungeon and you are missing a tank or heals, then I'm on most days 6 pst. The normal toon I play are Booie, Sanator and Cavall .. I also have an uncover mage by the name Breezy. Just ask for me in guild or tuatha
