Raid nights and times:
Wed 6 PM Server/PST
Fri 6 PM Server/PST
Sun 5 PM Server/PST
Tues 6 PM Server/PST *if necessary*
Invites start about 15 minutes before start time. There are no guarantees about holding raid spots if you are not present when invites start. Likewise, if you receive an invite and do not accept or are currently in a group, then it is your responsibility to contact me for another invite. There's simply too much for me to keep track of at the start time to notice who accepted and who did not.
Finally, for those in the Roster, if you cannot attend a normal raid night then I need you to either send me an in-game mail or an email (it's on my profile in this website) letting me know that you'll be absent. If anyone has multiple occasions where they simply do not show up without contacting me, then I will assume that you no longer wish to raid on a regular basis and move you to the Reserve list. We have a very large number of people patiently waiting on the Reserve list for a chance to raid consistently with us. It is unfair to those people that I hold regular spots for those who cannot regularly attend.
Due to the ability to buy Tier1 Raid gear with the new Marks system in RoS, GSB, and GP; the following changes have been implemented for GSB and RoS. Note: Normal loot rules will apply in Hammerknell.
All non-weapon loot will have no loot modifier nor will they consume your loot modifier when you win the item.
However, we will limit each individual to 1 NEED loot roll win a day. If everybody passes on the NEED roll for another item(s) and it is an upgrade for you, then you can still win the item at that time.
Epic quest item Heart of Greenscale will now consume a loot modifier and will use loot modifier in calculations.
For those interested in participating then please sign up in this thread and send me a tell in game on the day of the raid to let me know that you are ready and interested in filling in. Otherwise, I'll never know to invite you if there are openings available.
The minimum Hit/Focus requirement is 227 for Lord Greenscale. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll see you soon. :)

Greetings folks,
This post will serve the purpose on updating everyone on the future schedule for Greenscale's Blight raids and other raids of that sort. (Raid rifts, the Gilded Sanctum 10 man raid, etc) It will also outline the loot rules for those who are interested or are affected by them. Finally, it will provide information on how to sign up for these events.
First off, the tentative schedule. This will change based on availability and whenever we get to play in the 10 man raid dungeon. (We will probably devote at least one day to this fun new place when we are able.)
Wednesday - 6 PM PST
Friday - 6 PM PST
Sunday - 5 PM PST
PST is also the server time.
The raiding length of time will be approximately 3 hours give or take a few. I ask that everyone who is in the raid be ready at the start time so we don't have too much delay. Because we raid less than the more hardcore raiding guilds, we must be efficient with the time alloted to us.
*Note these loot rules have changed for GSB and RoS non weapons gear.
Loot rules:
This is always a sensitive subject. I will share my own opinion on this. Progression raids usually mean that the raid is undergeared compared to the dungeon they are in. To ensure success in these dungeons, it is important that the people who get the gear actually use it. Likewise, it is a very costly and time consuming activity and I think there should be some incentive for people to keep showing up and being mangled by raid bosses all the time. However, I do not think DKP is an appropriate thing to use in a casual mature guild/alliance. Nor do I think people who can only raid occasionally should be severely punished in a way that they have no chance of seeing loot at all. Because of all these factors and a few others that I can't fit into a moderately long post, these are the loot rules that I have established.
1> There will be 3 loot rolls when a piece of gear is dropped.
A. The first is the NEED roll. To roll need on an item means that it is an upgrade for you and also that it is for a primary role that you use. That doesn't mean you cannot roll on multiple roles for your character. If you are a tank and a dps, then you should do both. It only means that both those roles should be able to help the raid. In other words, if you are a cleric and you have only green items for tanking, that is not a primary role for you. ;0 Now there is alot of gray area in this and I strongly encourage people to talk it out with each other. We had several people passing in favor of others in the last run and that is how I envision things to go in the future. We are all one big family and I want us to treat each other so. We grow stronger as every one of us grows stronger.
B. The second roll is a GREED roll. This means that you can still use the item but it is not necessarily for a role that you would use in a raid. I love to collect tanking gear and I even have a tanking role. But I don't envision myself getting to tank any time soon. Thus if a tanking item for a cleric dropped and nobody rolled on NEED, I would roll GREED.
C. The third roll is what I like to call the VENDOR roll. If nobody can use an item and people want to either vendor, sell on AH if BOE, or runebreak an item, then they can roll here. Hopefully this will never happen but there may come a day when we look at raid purples and yawn.
2> Secondly, each time a person attends a raid, they will receive a +10 bonus to their roll when rolling for items. In other words, if you attended a previous raid and you were to roll on an item the next time, you would get +10 added to that roll. The maximum added to a roll will be 100, meaning that you cannot go over 200 on any given roll. I put a maximum number because I don't want people to get so big an advantage that others will always be at their mercy to pass for gear. I don't think any of us are like that but it's best not to take chances.
3> When someone wins an item, they will get -50 deducted from their roll. So if I were to win an item one night, I would gain +10 and then lose -50, which would result in a -40 for the next raid night I attend. If another item dropped that I could use, I'd be able to still roll but I'd have a -40 modifier to it. The maximum number to this is -100. I don't want people to be in the red for an eternity just because they got a lucky night lol.
I will post a weekly update on who attended and their roll modifier so that you can keep track of where you are at. This is not a perfect system, but it's what will have to do for now. It will be subject to change or tweaks so don't get all angry at me if things do change. Again, I foresee very few problems with loot because of our maturity level and because we are all really cool people. ;0
Raid signups or When can I come die horribly with you guys?
Ok this is the worst part of being any type of raid leader. Well except for the part where you tell people to trust you that the dragon doesn't really breathe fire and then he does. If it were possible, I would bring everyone and their grandmothers to the raids. But there are only a limited number of slots available and a specific number of slots per role. Because we are currently progressing through content, our margin of error is very very small. Thus, we have to be a little more selective now then we will later when things are on a 'farm' status. It's not about you, so please don't take it personally. In the end, I will try to give everyone their chance to slay Prince Hylas and silence his annoying squeaky voice forever. (well for the 1 week raid timer that is) Until then, I ask for your patience in this matter.
I will post each week, a list of raiders who have signed up for that week's raid. Underneath that list, will be a list of people who wish to be included if the above raiders cannot make it. Because we all have busy lives and conflicting schedules, there will always be people missing from the signed up list. Therefore, I need people to sign up on the reserved list to be ready and able to meet the call when asked. If possible, I will give you at least a few days warning in advance. I realize being on stand by is not the most enjoyable thing in the world and I will do my best to rotate some people in and out when possible. However, it is important to not have mass turnover in a raid group because that would destroy the coordination and chemistry that often decides whether we win or lose.
If you are interested in joining our merry band of raiders, then I ask that you post underneath this post so that I can talk to you in game about your playstyle, time available, favorite ice cream flavor, etc. I will also ask about your Focus/Hit/Toughness/Attack Power/Spell Power/Crit/Underwear. If you are offended by those questions then you probably don't want to sign up. I am not gear checking you, but I do need to know that you will be effective against the raid bosses. Please don't be intimidated to sign up, I will be gentle on you honest. And don't be scared of raid dungeons, the worse thing that can happen is you accidentilly run into a boss prematurely, die instantly, and then watch in horror while everybody else dies because of you. I mean how bad is that? We'll only put it on Youtube and make you famous. In all seriousness, raids are very much fun. There is alot of satisfaction in working together with 18 great players and 1 confused raid leader to kill a very hard boss. I hope to see all of you with me one day.
Anyways, I think I'm done now. At the top of this post you will find an updated roster list including the reserves. If you have any questions at all, then please go ahead and ask me in game. Posting them on the forums is fine also but realize that it's much easier to get all your answers from me in real time. If I don't answer immediately, please resend me a tell. I sometimes lose them in the gaggle of information that scrolls past my screen. I'll also be willing to talk to you in vent too if you prefer that medium.
Good luck to all of you.
