Currently only lvl38 and still feel like a noob with my warrior.  Definitely no expert, so I need feedback.

I have been playing mostly WvW since I purchased the game a couple weeks ago - and honestly it will remain my focus, as its just too much fun running around with a coordinated group of 30.  Recently during our scheduled events I have been playing more of a support role with a Sword/Warhorn and Rifle.  I find that my role is

1. Rush to the middle of a large group of enemy and scatter them withFearMe.

2. Switch to Rifle and join the rest of the party on Ranged attack.

3. Seek out the enemy trying to sneak away and slow them down with Hamstring or Bolas.

4. Assist others with kills rather than 1v1 (this may change more as I level up)

With this build I wanted to stack crit damage and skill regeneration.  I find I use my Rifle more than anything during WvW, but maybe I am playing my warrior completely wrong?   Have I misunderstood my role as a warrior?

Also, if this build is half decent, what armor do you think I should be focusing on.  Right now I am looking mostly for (In order)  Precision - Power - Crit

I am open to input and (even though its against GSCH rules) I want you to tell me how to play (or play better).

 EDIT: Fixed link. Spelling errors.

I wish I could see that link at work to get a better idea of the build you are talking about. sounds a little similar to taughrims run and gun build? Here is the thread I started regarding a few builds ive come up with: http://guildwars.gaiscioch.com/tavern/guildwars_classes/post_40713.html Do you think you could use gw2skills.net for your skill calc? it doesnt have the problems you seem to be having with the one you used, and i'd be better able to help critique from work :D im only lvl 67 so I obviously still have a ways to go yet, but I like to test my builds in spvp.

I'm doing pretty good with toughness/+condition build. Actually exceptionally good. I'm using Rifle/Sword and Warhorn. Rune of the undead on my armor converts 5% of all my toughness into condition damage. My armor is 3000+, I can't emphasize how important that is to how I play because it allows me to handle seige and revive others not just noticeably better but exceptionally better than the build I originally started out using based on being good at 1 vs 1's. I'm using "rabid" gear. I dropped my second sword for warhorn which was HUGE because that warhorn was way more useful than I ever imagined for saving people when outgunned and charging runners. And surprisingly I'm still pretty good at 1vs1, I just front load the damage with my rifle then switch to my sword when they get too close. I'm running endure pain, balanced stance, the signet that cures all conditions for utilities (I forgot the name) all very powerful for reviving, escape, and/or 1vs1. A couple of times I thought I was fighting one guy but was getting flanked and I still manged to escape using my speed buffs (elite signet/warhorn)and toughness. A cool feature of speccing up the precision trait line is I can switch out the rifle trait (WvWvW) with the sword trait (PvE) at will. That rifle trait is huge when firing into a crowd. I absolutle love the range on the rifle (1200) and being high condition damage adds to bleed on the 1 skill. I imagine I'm beatable 1v1 but if someone specs that much into beating one person, I can probably get away from them if I need to. One of my favorite moments so far was a theif pulled me off a wall into his zerg and I still managed to get back inside the keep and killed him with my rifle the next time I saw him use his pull heh. I'm using the signet that regenerates for my heal because I don't want another button click and the other heals are interuptable as far as I know. Working great because I'm really hard to bring down. Very happy with my surviveability and damage so far. I would recommend high toughness for any WvWvW build because of the nature of that part of the game. Edit: I just recently picked up an exotic bow for my bag to see what I can do with it at keep standoffs. Anyways thats my 2 cents, hope it helps

Taugrim has a new rifle / hammer build on his website that's super close to what I run.

Radgaskens ranged warrior build is superior to the one I started this thread with. IM now running with dual sword and sword/ warhorn. focusing on bleeds/ condition damage with survivability/escape. Basically I can run into a zerg and put a bunch of bleeds on people, run out and watch their health drop as I heal my friends with shouts. then at towers/ keeps I switch to long bow. I posted my build in rhyzens' thread if youre curious. so far its been a lot of fun and challenging.
