Currently, you will not see the FFXIV on your main page of recent discussions unless you check the box to the left and the "subscribe" button on the right. You can subscribe to any Saigdhear forums in the same way. (Just in case you thought we had disappeared or were not posting!)
Fog implemented this yesterday to give players the choice of what they want to view. Or view all the things if you like....omg choices!
I'm not sure it's working - I'm not seeing FFXIV on my recent posts list, nor ESO for that matter.
Hmmm, you clicked the checkbox and hit subscribe and nothing? I am not sure....I use firefox, and it works fine for me. You could post in the Ask The Elders section for Fog to reply to?
Yeah they are checked off fine, just nothing showing up in the recent posts feed but the default stuff. The Saighdear tab is empty and the My Discussions and Gaiscioch & Tuatha tabs are showing the same content.

Firefox. I've got ESO and FFXIV checked and saved, but nothing in the saighdear tab on my landing page.
Ok figured it out. I was clicking the Rift or GW2 logo, both of which don't show any info on the saighdear tab. The default www.gaiscioch.com landing page does fill in the saighdear tab.
Oddly, I'm getting "book club" posts in the Saighdear tab even though I'm not subscribed. What's a "book?"

LOL, what's a book? It's those things I devour and my husband wonders if I remember what I read. ;) If I didn't get on to play games and just read all day I could kill the average 350 page novel in a day.
As to the subscribing, I like how he has this set up and how he plans on working it into being better on mobile devices. This allows for those that want to be doing something on the website at the same time they are doing a game without alt tabbing because they can even make it work on an smart phone or tablet. That way those without two computers or two monitor setups have an easier time of it. Or you can even stay in touch with this wonderful family on the run. ;)

I'm clueless and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I don't see anything subscribe, so I'll just keep clicking on "Recent". ;)
Kitasha if you click on the Tavern and scroll down there are now boxes you can check next to the different Forum categories. You just click the ones you are interested in getting updates on and scroll down to the bottom and click on the update subscriptions button. That allows you to see the recent posts in the areas you are interested in on your command center page. If you don't do this then you will no longer see any of the new posts for the different areas besides the core part of the forums in your command center.
@Kitasha: Hit the "Interact" icon at the top of the site, next to the 'h' in Gaiscioch. Scroll down to "Saigdhear Games" section. You should see a check box to the left of our FFXIV forums. Check the box and hit the "subscribe" button to the right.
This now means that FFXIV shows up in the "Recent Discussions" section of the site for you. If you leave it unsubscribed you will not see FFXIV discussions under "recent discussions", you will only see posts if you access the specific FFXIV section. You can subscribe to as many Saigdhear forums as you like.
Fog made it so people can tailor the website to their interests :)

I can't seem to find anywhere to "subscribe" as well. I am using Firefox. I can't find the interact icon you mentioned either Hex.
Nevermind, I figured it out.

Subscribing only effects the my discussions section. ThiS will however be affected by the site your on. Gw2 / www only gw2 and gaiscioch topics are shown on the gw2 gaiscioch site.
Firefox users. There has been some known issues with our site and various ad blocking tools. These can and will block cookies including the ones this site uses to tell that you are "Actually" logged in. If checkboxes are missing next to the Forum names on the interact page, most likely you should log out and log back in and whitelist this site with your ad blocking utilities. This problem only happens in Firefox.
