I have been playing around with the images and icons from the FF XIV fan kit and images from the website and this is what I have come up with so far. The only thing I dont like is the font of Rustedcrown, it needs to be placed better and maybe a different style. I will also be adding the server and FF logo somewhere in there too.
@Hexx and Gibsauce- What style of font is that in your sig?
Looks cool. I am not sure about font, Gibsauce made ours. I'll ask him to post it for you.
The top font is called "Eorzea."
The one just under it is "TypeOne."
The server and class font are both "Dark11."
The final fantasy name was of the same name, "Final Fantasy."
The XIV logo was the only thing I can't remember, but can easily be mimiced by any font.
I got most, if not all of them from Dafont.com, for free.

Will try to get to work on an Echoes (now official) logo for us to use! - Any concepts are welcome!
My sig will also be a work in progress. Right now I am using most of the images and stuff from the fan kit, until I get in the actual game and can take some screen shots.
As far as the logo goes, does the game have FC banners? If so, the logo could incorporate that. I am also sure that we have quite a few people that could come up with some good logos.

Wanted to put my talents out there, I am taking requests for sigs!
If anyone wants a custom FF based signature, simply message me the graphics you want to use, color schemes and a general idea of what you want, and ill happily put forth some effort to create one for you!

Soren -- love the sig, but my inner copyeditor cringed at the spelling of Echoes. Sorry to be THAT PERSON (truly!), but I think you're missing an E.
funny part is Lakshmi, because of the 5 character limit in FFXIV it will be "Echos" on our guild tag because it's limited to 5 characters.
We could go with just "Echo". I saw some shorter-than-5-character guild tags this weekend, and misspelling it will just invite unwanted comments.
Besides, tagging it <Echos> will ruin my plan of making a character named Echo Echo <Echo> !
Lol. Ya I know I dropped the e, I just went with how I thought the tag was going to be spelled :p
