Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Tough match and unepected issues with the game
It is certainly a challenge out there in WvW this week. Some of it is that we are fighting in tier 5 (yay for us), but I know that the frustration of the constant issues with the game since the latest patch and all the new builds is starting to take its toll. Persevere! We might not win this round, but we are fighting well together and I choose to take it as a complement that the other servers are having to resort to spies and ganging up on us to make sure that they will win.... that means they are scared of us, as well they should be...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Dive Master!
We got together a little group together to jump, and re-jump, and then jump again for the Not So Secret diving goggles in Gendarran Fields. Though only two got the achievement (I was just porting) the other two kept trying till it was time to log off for the night - however they did manage to get the chest hidden in the water. I have many Mesmers in place to portal people up for this part of the achievement. If this is the last goggles that you need please let me know and I will do mini events as needed...

Smitty Posted a Battle Recap: Smitty's Sabres 3/17 - Blah...
Well, all things considered we didn't do half bad! It was certainly an interesting night as we faced resistance from multiple fronts, keeping us on our toes the entire night. Both CD and IoJ decided to tag team us the whole night and force us to play home defense for most of the evening. The most notable fight of the evening was the take of SW Tower on home BL. IoJ decided to set up shop there after taking the tower, placing several key arrow carts around the perimeter. And with the new camera angles, hitting mobile targets was, I'm sure, significantly easier...

As we swept across the rugged terrain housing the Crows Court, no foes could resist the sudden influx of twirling blades, fire-spitting staves, air-splitting arrows and all around unstoppable force that was the Gaiscioch Group that night. Without fear nor hesitation, they made their way through, like if it was their own backyard playground, taking no prisoners and only leaving dust clouds and remains in their wake. Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: I ran as long as I could
and I will try to stay later next week... That was some remarkable fighting last night by one & all when we were hit hard by both Crystal Desert and Isle of Janthir on our home borderland. We were able held our own in any equal fight and we even had some wonderful open field fighting as well as beautifully defending the keeps and towers against them. I especially appreciate you all for holding our Bay when I had to log off, I hated to leave you out there, but I was falling asleep at the keyboard...

Over a period of 6 hours ran multiple people thru EP and AD skyshards and POI's. Took a total of 2 and a 1/2 times thru before fatigue set in and had to call the marathon.

Hi everyone, I made a new sylvari the other day and came across an NPC by the name of 'Ventari'. He didn't look important, but I looked him up and oh boy was I in for a lore treat. I found him in front of me after creating my character talking to 3 dreamers who are interested in his wisdom. Ventari is/was an elder centaur of a tribe in Maguuma Jungle (GW1 & GW2). He wasn't the violent type and didn't like the ways of his own centaur people or the humans. So he decided to make camp elsewhere in the Tarnished Coast...

You all did an amazing job out in WvW on reset night against an unexpected enemy. When I heard of this week's match up I knew that there would be some epic fighting and I was proved right when I popped out to have a look (I even finished my dailies). Excellent leading Smitty ... Those open field skirmishes were marvelous and you set the bar very high for us this week. Sorry I couldn't stay out longer, I am working on adjusting to the new time zone so I can play/lead later and longer. Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Skill Point Hunters - Practice run
Thank you for coming out for a last minute practice run in the starter zones across the map for skill points. I am glad we had a small group for this one. With having to run to open some maps there was minimal time loss and even with the few events we stopped for along the way (we just couldn't resist doing SB when it spawned), we were able to start and finish this event in a little less than 2 hours - which is the timing I was looking for. I will be doing this event again for anyone who has a new account, new characters or just needs some skill points...

I'm sorry waiter, this Tier is very rich... There is too much CD and IoJ in my soup! What a night for reset. We find ourselves staring down the barrel of a 1.5% chance of getting CD and IoJ this week and we eat the shot square in the face. But we are nothing if not sturdy folk. Listen, we haven't "bought" a single guild for our server and on our reset night we held together marvelously. Yes, CD brought their A+ zerg with them, but we held our own and kept them occupied long enough on our map to have a SIGNIFICANT portion of everything else taken...

Thank you for joining me in a wonderful event as we explored the map of the Cursed Shore. We gathered lots of goodies, killed many champions, completed a few events, gained a lot of traits, as well as skill points as we made our way to the achievements and Jump Puzzle. One of the achievements listed for the event: Beaker's Empty Belly was a mistake on my part, we did Grounded instead. My apologies I will double check my typing for next weeks event. Yes folks, mark this day on your calendars, Aoibheann went to the Eternal Battlegrounds - voluntarily I might add ... and we enjoyed snowball fights with Kaineng & Gates of Madness. Poor dears got ran over with the snow plows and beaten with shovels. Thank you all for having patience as I fumbled around trying to find a place high enough to drop us over (I finally managed to kill one person running off of the cliff). I showed up, tagged up on SoR, even came into the Boom, Boom Bounce Room.... I said hello I am here, then waited a bit to see who would join me. However, since you had a leader leading and you guys were busy fighting, I finally tagged down and ran solo for a while. Seems like we had some misunderstanding, but not to worry, I will just try to do my event again next week. I might even try to start a little earlier as long as I am not intruding on another commander. Went mostly well except when we couldnt find a catapult master when we needed one & didnt siege bubble them quite enough at the same time. I could tell our commander was feeling the stress of almost losing our catapults. During another part, after very sweet trebuchet placement, we got far & long into one of the opposing teams garrison until we ran out of supply & couldnt sustain the assault. At the very end of the session several of us agreed to stick around for a bit to sweep our last keep conquest...
