I don't really recall a lot other than doing a lot of events and making it to lvl 3 in the wvw leveling schema(from nada)... which must be new (?) I had never seen it before... we did have a pretty sweet fight at the bigging where we were all huddled together underwater and let the enemy close in on use... then portaled behind them to get a strategic advantage... going to remember that one for a while... a lot of the other fights were us getting pummeled horribly en-masse... it was over all a grand time...

I'm a reluctant Voip user. Such programs are invaluable for organization & communication of course. So I'm not against them. I'm simply on the fence about them personally. One reason is my voice. It's naturally deep. When I hear myself I think I sound like Eeyore. I have a touch of social anxiety. So I'm always a little too concerned with what I fear people are thinking about me. Since I can't see non-verbal cues in Voip I often end up feeling a bit nervous. Surely I'm not the only one who is afraid to interrupt or talk over some one? Politeness often keeps me quiet even when I have something to say or the answer to a question...

Obsidian was not sure how long she slept, but when she was awakened by T'Ku she immediately was faced with a very hostile Minion. She had never seen one like this before, it was huge and she knew that if she wanted to live it would take everything she had. She sprung into action and was a little surprised that she was able to get off a spell before the creature got to her. She hit it and slowed it down for a little bit. While she was finishing another spell the minion hit her. It felt like she just got hit by catapult...

The event was a great turn out, 12 gold was donated which was used to buy Guild Influence for Gaiscioch with the special I for today's event. 6,000 Guild Influence. The Fight Vs Grenth was long hard and beyond the word fun beyond many things. Many members of the event got great loot drops, good chunk of Bags to Rare Item drops. We had some laughs but was it fun when we almost got are butts handed to us vs the Shark on the south end of the map, but in the end we finished the Shark off and claim are unepic loot...

Gideon Posted a Battle Recap: AC Path one after patch.
With the help of a more seasoned Guild member and dungeon runner we were able to claim victory over the catacombs, but not before hitting the brick wall that was the howler. The howler engagement has changed completely. I felt confident going in that I knew the path we had chosen well enough to lead our guild group to victory. After wiping 3 or 4 times on the howler I no longer felt confident. We had a good group though and our persistence paid off. We figured out the new strategy for the fight and after a couple tries had him down...

A grand evening was had by several members of the Family at the Bardic Collegium on Wednesday night. Local bard, Iktena, provided a series of lively story songs while Sri made sure that everyone had plenty to eat and drink. Well I got busy and added another chapter to Ali's story so here it is: So Alia set off for Lions Arch. The journey would take about a week and she was impatient. She knew that there was nothing she could do to speed up the trip so she had to make the best of it. She began talking with the other people she was journeying with. She met an old women named Wanda who seemed to only want to talk about her long dead husband.
