Paying Homage to WARHAMMER

I am going to be writing an article for our next edition of the Gaiscioch Magazine about all things WARHAMMER. There are many versions of the game and I would like to share our personal stories about any and all of them. Short, long, funny, epic... as well as pictures of any memorabilia you might have for the following:

• Warhammer Fantasy Battle, a table-top fantasy miniature wargame, and origin of the franchise
• Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, a fantasy role-playing game
• Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game
• Warhammer 40,000, a table-top science-fantasy miniature wargame

By special request, I am also looking for a photo of the original fabric map of the World of Warhammer to use for publication. If you have one or know of anyone that does, PLEASE contact me.

My partner and I play Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, pen and paper role playing game, how could we help?

I used to play 40k table top and have lots of friends that still do. I'll see if I can round you up some pix of our epic armies. Pretty sure I got Space Wolves hanging out somewhere =p

I've also asked some of my friends that are Warhammer collectors about the cloth map, If I hear anything I'll let you know!

I played Warhammer Online.

I've been involved with Warhammer for 20+ years now and don't recall hearing about a cloth map. Any extra information on what it was and when/how it was released? I do have a folded paper version hiding around here somewhere that came with an anniversary edition of White Dwarf magazine (250 I think, 14 years ago) that covers the entire Warhammer World (a copy of the one that apparently hangs in Bugman's Bar in Nottingham).

What I am looking for is your favorite story from the game. It can be about your character, the game itself, your fondest memory of the game, or even stories of friends, new and old, playing the game.

I am going to be telling a story about the pen & paper version I played with friends.

I should dig out my bugs (40K Tyranids) and take a few pics. They "bugged" (pun intended) an opponent in a tourney into declaring a forfeit because the paint job was to unnerving.

I believe I have played just about every Warhammer Fantasy/40K game for table-top and most of the computer games. Most are fun, some are a pain, but WAR is the only one that made me mad before I even got a chance to play it. I am an Elf lover. All I can say is Swordmaster, Elven capitol city and stealthless Ranger.

man i love warhammer lore could talk about it for days lol.almost done writing down my stories and i found some old stories too so i will includes those too pick and choose what you want or need.

Dargron, can you get me a picture of the map that you have? I heard about the cloth map from Fog, I am wondering if it was a custom made map because I am not finding anything about it. Hmmmm

Dargron, Kitty, Soren & Snazz, I will want to pick all of your brains as well for your stories to use in my article. I am going to have to spread it out as I am in the midst of Drs appointments and packing, hopefully things will calm down next week.
