A bit about me.... I started playing War back in beta; the days when White Lions were essentially a pet-less class.:D I originally rolled on Ulthuan which many will know was a mistake. The first set of server mergers sent me to Bretonnia. Fresh off the mergers things seemed to be hopping so I started up an old-timers guild with the intent of being a small, family oriented guild. Thing progressed well and by the time the next set of mergers came in the guild was up to roughly 40 active members. The options at that time for us were Badlands and Ungrim. The guild voted on Ungrim because of the healthy Order population and so we moved on. We weren't strong enough though and after a month or so players were moving on to other games and the guild essentially caved in at that point. Elitism was pretty strong at that point on Ungrim too so it was hard to enter into a good alliance.
Water under the bridge... Throughout that whole process the game had become more work than fun so I decided to leave too. I packed up my gear.. saved the guild to my RP and went on to explore the Capital wastelands over and over. Fallout 3 was a good diversion for me because it didn't matter if my own little server was populated or not to be fun. :P
I kept up with the game throughout all of the time and a year and a half later I took my free 10 days and jumped back in. Badlands seemed like the place to be from the forums so I started moving some toons over. Low and behold... my RP with the guild attached is gone... along with some T4 toons I had spread around. Rather than complaining I decide to transfer over the random toons I have left in the system.. and to roll some new ones to get a feel for the game again.
So I decide to come back; for awhile anyways. There are alot of things I didn't get to do the first time around. I never made it past Gunbad from a dungeon standpoint. RvR is so much better now from a couple of standpoints. I wonder how many folks actually remember when there were no rvr incentives at all. I watch the trolls complain about ticks, or defense ticks, or what have you. Wonder how they would have felt before the rvr gear and tokens were included; or when there were no rvr quests at all.:P
Anyway, I've run around with quite a few of you guys the last couple of weeks in rvr and have been having fun with the game again which is the most important thing. I do enjoy other aspects of the game as well though. I always enjoyed the pq's and getting into dungeons when I could. My memory is hazy on them still but I will jump into anything if you call on me; open invitation. I have several alts that can come to the guild as well. I suffer from AltDhD and am not on medication for it. :D
It's good to be with a family like this coming back. If any of you need help (t1 thru t3 for the moment) with anything I'll jump in if I can. I'm medically retired too so you will see me on quite a bit; smashing gits in da face makes for good medicine. ;)
