BfB T2

Well this just my opinion but I didn't really have much fun tonight. As an event I will agree it was a success, but for me personally I didn't have much fun. I'm sure the defence was fun but while you all were doing that I was off getting my ass handed to me taking other keeps. IMO not much fun. I really do hate doing things and not having much fun or coming away with little to show for the effort. I mean fun when I say that. I really didn't have much fun doing T1 BfB either. Not really sure if I will do T3. I'm glad you had a good time with the defence because I know I didn't because I wasn't there. To be honest I don't really care if we win or lose as long as I'm having fun that moment. I didn't really have fun tonight. So on a personal level this event tonight was fail for me. I have more fun on the Trinity nights then I did tonight. Any thanks to all the WB leads I know it's hard when no one listens.

I understand where you are coming from on this one Elistanus, I was also in the warband that was out trying to score points so that I missed the defense. It can be frustrating when you are not where the main action is, listening to all the fun others are having. What I take away from this though is hope. While I may have missed that particular one, the fact that so many turned out gives me hope that there are many more fights like it to come.

I can understand your point too, Elistanun. I was in the same warband as you were, and I lost the first part of the epic Fangbreaka defense. I say "the first part" because even after the event ended, and I had time to train, check out some beautiful gear and such, the defense still was going on. So I headed there and defended the keep at Pandora formation for 15 minutes before we finally pushed destro out for a glorious finale. I had fun tonight. Not only at the final defense, but at the whole event. Fighting at a warhost is like this -- sometimes you don't get the most fun missions. Sometimes you are sent to your death. But sometimes even this turns out to be glorious. I'm very happy with Foghladha's leadership AND with Knuckel's leadership in my warband, and I had fun even as I was trying to capture secondary keeps for points, being rolled by Destro again and again. But maybe that's just me. I understand and respect your point. I just wanted to put my different perspective. I'll be ready anytime my leaders want me to take part on the most extreme missions, and even on the somewhat boring ones. I'm here to take part on the team, and that's what I have fun with. What was bad about T1? I can understand your point about T2. I would say play T3 but stick with the main defense WB. I few these events as a way to play with my family but also shift roles around.

Yes... I would suggest the same. Give it a try at T3, but ask to be put at Foghladha's WB. And announce to him (privately, please) that you would like to be on the main action. If that doesn't work, you can simply stick to the action you think it's most fun during the event. Many people at the even weren't even able to leave BO's before tick to defend a keep. You wouldn't be the worst person in the world if you didn't follow your leader if that's the only way for you to have fun.
