gotta ask because I am from Florida.
I already know what Tallahassee means (that is, the derivation of the name of the city)...i took the name based on the character from Zombieland...i am not from Florida....and i am not offended that YOU are offended...after all, its just a game.
Ahem. I like Tallahassee. That is all.
Sheesh. This wasn't supposed to be a bash thread. Sorry about that Tally.
Falonarion,
Not quite sure why you would be offended, perhaps i'm missing something. I played football with a guy named Tallahassee and at 6'5" 320lbs he was one mean DL.
I personally know jack and squat about Warhammer lore and I play this game because some friends of mine decided we should get back together. Does that mean I can't use Foghladha. Did you know Foghladha means Night Walker or Plunderer in Gaelic? It is directly related to a clan of Pirates that sailed the north seas. Did you also know that Foghladha is my original last name before the English declared us "Savage" and gave us a "Proper" name? So while my family name has a dark history it has a even darker future as I now live with a name given to me by those that enslaved my family.
You see thats the funny thing about names. It's all a mater of perspective. Try not to get offended over silly things like this. This game is about fun. If you want your name to be Boogersnot and you enjoy being called boogersnot then by all means let boogersnot fly. Keep it fun guys. If your not having fun it isn't worth doing.
P.S. Please keep the hostile tones off the forums. We do not flame here. Blades out not in.

I got my name when I accidentally knocked down my 2 year-old niece's alphabet blocks. When I looked down on the floor, "Aethenbrior" was there. So I was like: "Damn, that's a cool name for High Elf". But, no, not really. I got my name from a Warhammer Fantasy name generator. But back to Tallahassee. I kinda figured that you took that name from Zombieland rather from the place. The character was just a lot of fun.
Creating IB named Boogersnot right now....hehe
About celtic names. When I was in DOAC, my first Alb char was Belgae Achren. Very celtic..I should have been a hib. Would have been able to join Gais much sooner ;)
I just figured he was working up to be south Tallahassee where the girls are sweet and kinda sassy.
This thread made me curious about Seabhrán's name. A quickly googling revealed that the bold green eyed archer has her name derived from the irish word for... dizziness. =) check the link: http://books.google.com.br/books?id=wu02_VvuVl4C&pg=PA253&lpg=PA253&dq=seabhran&source=bl&ots=NqXh2cXGSN&sig=H3LRH1SpHLJ0CuiOIE8G5SJYiuY&hl=pt-BR&ei=t_osTJixEsO78gaj7uGWDg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=10&ved=0CFkQ6AEwCQ#v=onepage&q=seabhran&f=false Blessed be
