Out in region chat I have been listening to lots of folk complaining about the trainers being moved to the capital. I for one think it adds some realism to a game that may be getting a little too "streamlined."

I know that we aren't on a role-play server anymore, but we all accept our environment as a "real" place. We are at war, and there should be some inconveniences if we are loosing the battle. All the trainers have moved to the city - presumably for their own protection. When Altorf is under attack, it makes sense that schools are going to be closed (Destro is probably burning down the school, and eating the professors anyway).

My Tier 2 White Lion dinged 20 last weekend. She couldn't train, or get her horse until last night (Wednesday). Ok... that wasn't ALL do to Destro being in Altdorf (we had a T4 night), but I did have to wait until the schools were rebuilt ;)

I agree. It makes sense in the Warhammer world that you can't just buy everything and do everything everywhere all the time... Inconvenient yes, unreasonable no.

I like that it gives people another reason to want city sieges prevented and to want to see the city defended.

Ah think each career level should require a written exam at the local sylvan prometric center. Best Regahds, Dwooid of Caledor

I heard a comment the other day, that maybe only the T4 trainers should be unavailable during a city seige - T1-3 trainers trainers should be back where they were. That sounds like a reasonable middle ground too...
