While we are calling this our next Official Game, This in no way will replace our presence in Warhammer Online. Guild Wars 2 is free-to-play as soon as purchase the game and will serve as a replacement to our Runes of Magic / Allods Expeditions. This will be our Secondary Title.
I will certainly be seeing you all in GW2. Do you know if they are still planning on giving the GW folks rights to their character names?

What are the system requirements for Guild Wars 2? The system requirements haven't been finalized, but just as with the original Guild Wars series, we're committed to creating a beautiful game that will play great on mid-range gaming PCs. hmmm... I wonder if there will be a Mac client for this one... or if running Win7 as a virtual machine will count as a "mid-range gaming PC". It works for DDO and the original GuildWars
I must say though I was not a huge fan of GWs, that the combat talk for GW2 sounds dynamic and interesting. And true to form the game clips look stunning and crisp. Will be for sure keeping an eye out for this one.
I think you will see me and Keggan there. Keggan has lost all intrest in war right now. But after see some of the GW2 media well i think she was sold.

Elementalist is in!
Warrior is in!
Ranger is in!
Necromancer is in!
My early guess as to our 8 classes for GW2: (From May 2010)
1. Elementalist (okay not a stretch since they announced it already.)
2. Paragon/Monk are gonna get merged into a paladin type support warrior.
3. Necromancer/Ritualist will get merged into a summoner character. (EDIT: Not sure as press are only ones to see Necro so far.)
4. Warrior is in as main tank with a splash of DPS. <<<---Okay, I got this one right at least in name.
5. Assassin/Dervish get merged into a MDPS/Support character.
6. Mesmer is in fairly in tact from GW1 because...it was the most original concept from the game.
7. Ranger is in very much like its original incarnation.. RDPS with pet sidekick. <<<---Confirmed first pet class in game.
8. Something new and completely fresh..not associated with GW1.

Rangers confirmed. I'm batting 1.000 so far on classes so far. And straight healbot class type (Monk) confirmed as out...
same i have the game also still. I think i will get part 2 but in those games i do alot of RP lol.
Greetings again all! I still troll our forums boards when I get the chance and I have to say GW2 has peaked my interest. Right now my PC is dumpy made circa 20 BQC (before quad core) but if I can get up to speed I'd love to break out my old mesmer again! I'll try to keep in touch. Been trying to get my WAR up to snuff again so you might see me online. (That and if I can free up my calendar some more) Tserash/Aethriel/Rilhelm
