Hey everyone, As we grow more and more active and claim more and more keeps to win those nice gold bags in tier 4 we will need more funds in the vault. At times having a keep claimed can cost us up to 50s per five minutes. One thing to know about Guild Tax is that this only applies to Coin you pick off of corpses. All sale goods, auction sales, etc do not get taxes taken out. I have run with daghdre at 10% tithe for the last week and overall with all the T3 raiding i did i was taxed 20s. Mind you i earned far than that in this period. This money is only used for keep claiming and purchasing rams for our weekly events. Only the ceannard or maitheans can withdraw funds so we don't have to worry about it being spent maliciously.
I would also like to ask that if you feel that you can manage it please tithe. As we proceed to tier 4 keep takes are going to be more and more expensive and to sustain a constant presence we will need the support of the family. I do not plan to raise the tax again so long as we don't start bleeding ourselves dry. Just felt I should let you all know rather than keep this hidden to you.
