Pitch aside, we will be running these dungeons on a regular basis to increase our guild rank and thought we might offer our services as teachers and guides as I know at least a few realm mates who have been hesitant to attempt these dungeons because they are unsure of their class role and or had a bad experience with the impatience of LFG runs.

As core members of our first guild from GR7 to GR30 we geared nearly every member and have literally been to these dungeons thousands of times on every class archetype. So if for example you want to learn to main tank them, or off tank them, we can explain who to pull, how, and why; in addition to basic information about each encounter. We could do “speed gear runs” as many others have, but our “tours” would be more about learning class type duties and preparing yourself for the next level of PvE/gear encounters. They would be slower paced, figuring at least 30 minutes per dungeon, with the entire group understanding that there might be mistakes and even wipes. If there is any interest in these learning runs I will set up events for “Altdorf Tours” on the event calendar.

Otherwise, please keep us in mind, at the moment we have 7 eligible characters (2SWs, 2Engies, 2Slayers, and an RP), with another 2 SW’s and a WP on the way up, so we’re sure to have some off lockout timers if you need to fill a run. Plus a few of our characters don’t need/want the gear. - Prob. easiest to ask in the Tuatha channel as we are active alt-a-holics.

Got a ways to go before I'm big enough, but once I get there, you'd better believe I'd be interested in your ride. I'll even promise to keep my appendages inside the train car at all times... other than those times I hear someone scream "ATTACK!", anyway. ;-)

I have a major interest in this. I have just hit 40/41 and have not really done any of the dungeons. (Never even got to do all of Gunbad or Bastian for that matter). I have not wanted to get into a pug for crypts or warpblade is they often expect one to know how to do it even though they have never been there before. I want to learn in a laid back environment where I don't have to fear getting a group wiped.

Tetharel, your not too far off! We'll be happy to show ya the ropes when you do. Faireach, I believe I have a group together to run Crypts / Warpblades with you, do you have time this weekend? We can run Gunbad/Bastion Stair if you'd like to check them out. Perhaps Tetharel would like to join us as well? We might be a tad rusty, but it'd make a good run for learning basics and we could switch main tank and off tank positions so you could both start getting a feel for them; the jobs of the two are surprisingly different. We will be a bit over-kill in Gunbad/BS but I keep hearing this rumor that mah nuke has a "low dps" button or something; I've always wanted to see if I could find it. ;)

Wow, you guys are awesome! I've been wanting to run them on my BW for awhile now...I'm finally lesser warded. But like you've said, there is performance anxiety when you are running in a PUG. Lets set a date!!! Oh, and as a side note, I'd also love to run BS some on my sorely undergeared KotBS. He's level 40 and still in Devastator gear. I leveled him up WAY too fast (without regard for renown), and now he's completely ineffective in rvr because he's so low RR. If I could collect the BS gear and get lesser warded, then run some Crypts/Tunnels to get Sentinal, he'd at least be a little better off and I might play him again.

Gunbad/BS bring back fond memories of a different life for me ... uh oh, uhm check these out: (Hey, I can use HTML here? Woot!) <Wipes the tears from her eyes before raising her tankard high to her lost CONVICTS.> One of my favorite things about Gunbad/BS is they only put a 6 man limit on the lair bosses, so we can take anyone who's interested for the vast majority of it. For Gunbad I'd say we can take level 20+ and for Bastion Stair I'd say level 34+ so feel free to bring your alts if you'd like. I'll spam the Tuatha channel when we get set up to do them. I was even able to recruit a Nacho to help guide us through Gunbad/BS. (Nachos are members of the 5DNA, 5 Different Nacho Assassins, our super sekret unofficial alliance. ;P ) My 4 guild team can do this anytime this weekend and my Nacho said he would be ready to help anytime this weekend as well, so we'll give it a whirl this weekend then. I'll loosely plan for Crypts/Warpblades (lvl 40 6 man) Saturday evening, but we're waiting to hear back from Faireach atm and I was hoping to bring my pocket healer who is on a little vacation atm. (Its a little known fact that my healer often has a pocket healer; Destro hasn't quite figured that out yet...)

Sorry for the slow reply. I didn't come here last night after logging off of the game. Being 'retired' with my children grown, I am able to arrange my schedule for most anything so checking my busy social calendar I see I happen to be free tonight. And as far as Gunbad and Bastian Stairs, I have tanked parts of both of them and wouldn't care to do them with my 40 but I have level appropriate characters and am in any time you guys want to do either of them.

Never did Gunbad or Bastion before...I tend to run around oRVR and try and poke things in the back. Then get stomped on...

Faireach, give me a shout when you'd like to "re-schedule" I know things got a bit crazy with the "stage II" push. We should be able to put together a group pretty much anytime to run though crypts/warpblades. An' of course anyone else interested can give us a shout and we'll be happy to try to set something up.

I am around by 7 central (usually earlier) most every night and thus available for any kind of group. (If not on Faireach you can find me on Kheblar my AM.)

Bumpage to see if the Guided Tours might still be available now that I'm big enough to participate. Like Fair, I've never done all of Bastion, for that matter. I can betcha Liqwid would be interested in that one, as well, since (unless I'm mistaken) he's not fully Lesser warded yet. But any sort of higher end opportunity to learn to tank better would be most welcomed by me. :-)

Toss me a tell (I'll prob. be on Mystriss) and we shall try to set one up. We could probably do tonight, but if that doesn't work for ya, sometime next week.

I'd love to take Giamo thru the tour a time or ten. 40/46 but only done sewers once and Warpblade once..maybe twice ages ago.

We should be able to take both of yer tanks on the same run. I am just waiting to hear back from my ToVL group regarding next weeks schedule, then we will try to nail down a good time for Crypts/Warpblade for ya'll.

Hey guys, I just had some RL stuff come up and I won't be playing until late in the evenings this next week. I should be able to have a group this weekend during the day (Sat or Sun) if that works for you? Otherwise I can try sometime next week. Just let me know what works for ya'll

I'm flexible, and on basically every night from 5:00 or so PST to 10:30 or so. Saturdays and Sundays, I'll likely be on from early afternoon on, with a dinner break in there somewhere. I like to participate in the Tues/Thurs/Sun scheduled tier events, but don't HAVE to. So just let me know where we can overlap, and I'm there. :-)
