Inactive toons

I had intended to keep my alts in Gaiscioch, but have pulled Tehnk and Guhner out. I don't play them enough to benefit anyonel, so they will remain unguilded. You all may want to think about inactive alts tho, if you want Gaiscioch to level. Apparently the inactive members seem to impact the leveling of the guild in a negative way. Oblit and BDM both kicked all but their mains from the guilds and while we hit 34, BDM jumped to 33 in about a week. Not sure what they were before, but they gained a couple of guild levels quickly. Much of that is T4 xp, but trimming the fat seems to help. Also, if you guys ever need healer help or need a dungeon run of any kind, hit me up.

I may have to consider taking Whurja out of the guild - I will keep an eye on her, but I don't play her much anymore even though she is my highest level toon - I have 2 other's in T4 now and play them more than any of the others. I do want to keep my T3 and T2 toons though at least for now. Whurja is the only one that has gone more than a week without being played. Thanks for the heads up.

Are you sure about that? We went round and round about that in my old guild and on some forums. Offical word is that inactive toons do not affect leveling. Supposedly the thing that affects leveling is the level of toons playing at the same time. If you have 4 40s and a 10 playing you would get less guild xp than if it was just the 4 fortys.

At this point i would not worry about it. I've tracked both GnA and G side by site and 5 active people make now difference in a guild of 10 than a guild of 400. Both ratio contributions are the same. Once we get the GnA guild to rank 6 i will bring it into the alliance and we will populate it with those alts. Until then please don't remove alts as it seems to cause unsettling feelings. It makes the people that don't know whats going on feel like were having a exile. It wont be an issue for quite some time.

From what I read on the forums the guild xp seems to be a function of the experience and renown earned divided by the number of guild members actually on. So an inactive "alt" doesn't hurt a bit. Can't say I've personally tested it though.
