Tactic that doesn't seem right

I was playing today when invited to a pick up warband ran by a Buurn(sp?). We went to Garrison of Skulls in Praag. He did not want anyone to hit the guards or the door. He died to the guards and then attempted to get a healer to die on top of him. When I questioned him it apparently was a method to get the warband inside the first walls and attacking the castle door before alerting destro what was happening.

It just seems fishy to me. Am I being overly careful or is this a legitimate tactic?

I personally wouldn't do it. It's super super close to an exploit and honestly my main character has too much time put in to risk just capturing a keep versus losing my whole account. At best, it's questionable. At worst, it'll get you permabanned. I don't know Buurn very well, but the times I've been in his wb, he's put it on masterloot the entire time and made other questionable calls. I'd be quite warey of him.

Mythis views this sort of thing the same way they view the tatic hacting that some use to by pass the outer door ,,, while they dont usually permaband some one right off the bat for it if theres enough complaints they can and will stip toons aka rolling there toons back in rr or removeing gear and that sort of thing for the first effence if they get caught a second time then they will perma band,, it also depends on the mood of the CSR lol.. Like vamp said be vary warey of buurn,,

I wouldn't do it and I do report it when people do decide to take this route. It is within that grey area for some but honestly not only is it a weak tactic I HATE and I mean hate attacking empty keeps. Doorhammer is not fun I would rather be repelled and it be action packed than take an empty keep. It's more fun and as all the PT server vets know...empty keeps are a snooze fest.

Ish I didn't even know a tactic like this existed. That pretty much isn't class.

Smells like cowardice to me. But then I'm dumb enough to run into a WB of black orcs and start pokin', so perhaps my opinion isn't the best in this matter. *grin* In all seriousness though, I think it's a crummy tactic. And given what Vamp's limited experience of Buurn is, I think we might do well to just steer clear of him, period, if at all possible.

I saw something like this the other night. I was in DW watching BOs and objectives for a good bit of time. I was doing the PQ just north of Drakes helping with a zone flip. When all of a sudden I see SoR and the realm warning that the keep was under attack. I had just rode by the front no more than 5 minutes prior and the outer had not been touched and the guards were still up. I ran thru the postern only to find a whole wb+ on the inner. Somehow they all got thru. Someone suggested that there's a few spots on the back side of the keep that you can summon and fall in. Either way, it's as fishy as well.
