Welcome to the new Tavern, I have changed it around a bit to prevent having to have 2 different logins. You will now be able to use a single login for everything. You will also earn Family Honor Points for participating in discussions. As I have the time I will begin expanding the Tavern to include multiple topics for discussion. This system will also prevent spammers which will defiantly save me some heartache in the future. I hope you all enjoy the new forums. Let me know what you think.

Looks great and very simple to use - thank you Foghladha :) I had a sugestion for a family event and didn't know where to post it. If enough people are interested can we host a "Discovery" night where we can go around as a group and unlock some of the harder tomes? We can start in Tier 1 where there are some champions to kill, and that way participation would be open to everyone! Then we can earn points for discovery the way you do the RVR points (by clicking the "I was there" button). I'm still learning a lot about the game, so just hush me if I'm on the wrong track :D

That's an awesome idea Twilah! Last night I saw a scroll that I had never seen before but I was too busy RvRing to even pick it up. It would be nice to explore the zones aside from the routes to and from the keeps/warcamps with a good size group so that you don't waste a ton of time solo killing the mobs you agro.

I could add a discovery night to the event list and have it award participation points, however the system isn't really setup to allow multiple people to claim a single discovery item. The discovery points are first come first serve, the top explorers will earn the points and everyone else benefits from having the locations available right here for them. I do think it would be nice to get some type of Exploration group going and I could certainly award participation points for attending it. The challenging part is finding someone willing to run it once a week or once a month. I have committed 2 nights to the oRvR side of the family, don't really have the free time to commit much else. Any volunteers?

I would volunteer, though I am still kinda new to the game. The discovery points aren't really that important, since we already have a system set up for that (Still learning how it all works!). I just think it would be fun to get together as a group and go defeat the champions that wander the world from time to time. The event itself wouldn't have to last very long either if we only do one at a time :) For example, there's a pink horror and a scorpion champion I read about in the Blighted Isle area. That could be one event night.
