I'm sure they will, and I am very happy they are balancing the servers so well. I've had 3+ hour queues for Zikel each night this week, so I rolled an Elyos on Yustiel (sp?) which seems to be the lowest populated server with no wait at all. I should be back on Zikiel this weekend since I am usually up by 7am :) I figured in a few more weeks the queues will be reasonable.
The servers are down right now so perhaps they are working on it now. ~crosses her fingers and hopes for Private Store timers~
That would be nice! I really wanted to be there for the official launch last night. Went straight home at 4 and my queue time was over four hours, so I said F'it and played on Yustiel again for a bit, then did laundry and watched some TV...called my soon-to-be ex and hammered out some bank account details for our meeting with the lawyer Thursday. Good times. It would be nice for them to fix the queues so we can all settle into a routine next week :)

At NCsoft our commitment is to making the MMO player experience the best it can be. And while Aion has seen a very successful launch that has exceeded our expectations in many ways, we are aware of the longer than usual queue times that players have experienced on some of the servers. This is due to the initial rush of players that we?ve seen in the early days of the game?s launch in Europe and North America.
Since the opening of Head Start this past weekend, we?ve have been heavily focused on striking the delicate balance between managing busy servers with queue times versus overcompensating by adding new servers too quickly that are then underpopulated and don?t deliver a fun experience for players. We did indeed see an initial rush on the first days of Head Start which resulted in longer than desired queue times for some of our servers, and we are working around the clock to alleviate this. In fact, we are happy to confirm we have increased our server caps and are adding an additional server in both North America and Europe by this weekend, and we will continue to evaluate adding additional servers.
That said, we do have alternate servers where players are experiencing lower queue times. People can get a real-time update and select that choice on our website at: Aion? Online :: Server Statistics
We continue to monitor issues closely and strive to address player feedback quickly to ensure the best possible experience.
There also is an interview with Brian Knox at aionsource.com answering some questions about queue times.

Well, that's cool at least, no?
I got smart and came home on my lunch break. logged in and started a "store". See ya'll in about 4 hours! At least Twilah is logged in, but I ain't there yet :D
I have not yet been stuck in the queue, but perhaps I should... Maybe I'd go offline and get some work done. :P
I'm sure it's just a timezone thing, because when I get home at 4 CST all of the east coast servers have queues and the west coast ones are "Low" with no queue, which is why I just rolled on Yustiel the past couple nights. But playing alone sucks and I miss you guys so this should work for me. I have no idea if ya'll will see some kind of AFK message from me when the store is set up, just know that if I am not on ventrilo I am not actually there :D
lots of people probably were unhappy today because the servers were brought offline. Lotta people lost their stores.
