Since the launch of the game we have had many friends come to join our family. We've had many victories as a family and will have many more in the future. I wanted to take this moment to Recap some of our highlights from the past 6 Months.

The Forming of the Family
It happened just 2 days after the launch of the game. A handful of us formed up in front of Sigmar's hammer and formed the family. Somehow through an act unknown to us so many of us reunited on this server from our DAOC days. With former members like Psyle, Durome, Caelliu, Breel, Elyzaria (come back soon!, once your done with that hanna montana game! lolzorz), and the hand full of fellow nimue companions that shared the battlefield with us years ago. The reuniting of the past and joining of our future has led to an awesome mix of personalities and characters.

The Forming of the Treubh
Probably one of our biggest signs were doing something right. Our alliance quickly filled up with brothers and sisters in arms bringing 10 of the most trustworthy and loyal families together with ours. In addition we now have a waiting list of 3 guilds wanting to join our alliance when an opening is found. We have also had a guild merge into ours. This desire to fight along side of us comes from being open with our warbands, showing people the life of a Gaiscoch. It bring great pride to my heart to see us accomplish these things.

Success on the Battle Field.
Hands down one of our strongest points. In the beginning when we started raiding with our single warband and a hand full of other people following us around we had some successful battles but usually were defeated at least twice a night. Since the deployment of the Gaiscioch Trinity we rarely get beaten, the general moral is high, and people get to do things they've never experienced before in this game, which is having fun. Our flanking tactics, traps, and outright demoralizing tactics have time and time again destroyed our opponent. There's no better feeling that calling our the Flip The Grid tactic where we go on a keep taking spree of 4 or more keeps at under 3 minutes a piece. Having this strategy down to perfection has allowed us to literally take a red field and turn it blue in less than an hour. For which destruction has no answer. The success in large is due to the excellent players we have along our side. By lacing the groups with Gaiscioch we literally shape the battlefield. You are the generals leading the militia. Give them an example and they will follow.

The Future of the Gaiscioch
We will likely hit 400 characters in the next few weeks and as we near the cap of 500 I will ask for the help of a few of the elders to for the Gaiscioch na Anu, A second guild running the exact same format as this one. I eventually will fill the Gaiscioch up with all the Tier 3 and 4 characters while the lower age characters will be in the Na Anu. Thus making guild chat related the tier they are in. I might like a few volunteers such as Galosef, Bulzeye, Caelliu, and Myself to start the guild with 4 and work on getting it to level 10 before we start getting members into it. This way both Gaiscioch can carry standards. The more active the players the better. Along with the Second Gaiscioch Im going to be bringing in Nimloki's minor league Knights of Steele into an alliance with them. Forming our second alliance. Thus being able to move a couple of the smaller guilds to the second alliance until the Cap on guilds is removed making room for Iron Legion and any other guild that cares to join us. Eventually I would like to have us over the 600 mark as long as we can keep this unity i believe it can happen and we can all enjoy the Gaiscioch spirit.

Future Combat
The time is growing near that we make our Tier 4 campaign official. Within the next 3 months we will have enough of us in tier 4 to begin bringing the Trinity to play in the big time. I'm really looking forward to this and feel that we almost ready. I will continue running Tier 2 and Tier 3 raid nights as they are our best recruiting tools.

Changes in Family Honor Points
There are a few things i will be changing with the launch of 1.2.1. See Here For More Info About 1.2.1. With the heightened level of keep security and the rise in difficulty in taking a keep I will be doubling participation points for taking a keep. I also will launch what we will call Castle Level II for tier 4 castles which will be a higher point value than tier 3 castles. I will also be adding points for Defending Keeps, Defending being defined as holding a keep after the outer doors (tier 3/4) or keep door (tier 2) have been broken. I will also have a point value for defending a Gaiscioch owned keep to the 2 hour mark. Oh yeah and i plan on adding the Edit feature to lore ;).

All in all I think the future of the Gaiscioch is looking really good, and looks like its going to be a ton of fun. I want to welcome you all to post your comments, suggestions, ideas below. Your opinions have built this family and I want to commend you all on your fine work pulling together this awesome group of people.

There are some great ideas being laid down here. I am glad I found this website [prior to game purchase] and actively pursued a membership into the family. The number of alts in the guild can also bolster the numbers up a bit. Unless I am mistaken, perhaps when the second guild is placed all secondary alts [below a certain age] could be shifted over making room for up and comers. Though on that same not if the lower guild needs the rank boost, I hear that the guild xp is based on number of active players and renown earned vs number of total players. Either way you look at it, good times in the future for the family.

I've had a bit of a revelation that might elevate some of the confusion and set some minds at ease. Some of you might be thinking. Oh so im going to get relocated to GnA and I wont have any communication lines to my friends who are in Gaiscioch. Well A: we have ventrilo, there's no difference in the way the families run. We are identical one in the same. But more importantly. Im not going to make anyone do anything. This will be completely optional. Pretty much how i see this working is when we hit the 450 people mark i will announce the opening of GnA officially. I will ask that if anyone has any Secondary characters which are tier 1 and 2 that they voluntarily relocate them to the GnA side of the family. All of the persons primary characters can stay in the Gaiscioch side if they like. The second family purely allows us to grow without turning people or their alts away. This will allow us to have several more people and help us become an even more dominant force in the realm. Eventually when Both halves have a good size guild rank we will start hosting some serious tier 4 battles where we own the entire zone as in both keeps. This kind of domination is going to put a serious name out for us and show people we mean business. If you have any questions please post them here. I'd be happy to answer them. Foghladha

It will not be too long before I will have 3 characters into T4....Whurja is already there....Morigana is at the cusp being lvl 31 and Rayvyn is lvl 29. I will probably alternate between Rayvyn and one of the other two for playtime since I like the range DPS but also the MDPS and the WH actually is more "me" with a sword in one hand and a pistol in the other while my "gamer" self has usually been a caster. What does this mean to you - well, I will be ready for what ever job you need except for healing, and will have any of my toons serve in either guild as you need them. I am not leary of communication problems or feeling left out. I don't imagine that the GnA side will end up like the "Lost Legion" of Romans that were forgotten on the British Isles. The house just got to small and some of the brothers and sisters had to move next door. Home cooking will still be available.
