First off let me outline one important fact:

Guild Taxes only come out of coin picked up from corpses, They do not include: Quests, Items Sold, Auction Hall sales, or Gifted Gold in Tier 4 in a single group your likely to see 5 silver max on any corpse.

That being said, I have had my tithe at 100% for a week and so far I have donated a single gold to the family. Claiming a keep in tier 4 usually takes around 1 Gold per 5 Minutes. Hence my 1 full week of gold donations lasted a whole 5 minutes. For our family to claim keeps and hold territories, flip zones, and dominate we will need to increase our fund supply. I don't like taxing people and don't want people to think that the taxes come out of anything other than corpse gold. But without some serious increase to our funds, we wont be able to keep claiming keeps. With the na Anu getting closer to 14 the possibility of double keep claims is at our door step. I believe this would be the most impressive thing to see.

So with that what do you think our guild tax should be.

Looks like 3 people already agreed on 50% and, I agree, it's pretty reasonable.

I vote 50% as well, possibly even 25% (but definitley leaning towards 50%). I personally tithe 100% so every coin that comes from a corpse goes to the guild, but that's because I believe so strongly in claiming keeps. That being said, I don't want to control other folks choices; it is up to them, based on what they want and value, to tithe more than the tax takes. The more you give someone control over their own game, the more it still feels like a game. I would highly recommend against doing 100% taxes as result.

I voted even though I no longer play WAR, so take my vote for what its worth (50%). I figure this may apply in Aion at some point as well.

When I log in next - I will be sending you most of my gold - which isn't much. I never had much need for it when I played a lot. I am a minimalist - so never needed too much.

Ok seems like theres a nice split here between 25% and 50%. I think at this point I will have the Na Anu side of the family enjoy the 25% Rate while the Primary side endure the 50%. This will encourage those who are leveling up characters to join the na Anu side of the family while those T4's who rarely need the chump change that falls of corpses to donate a larger portion. In addition T4 keeps cost a heck of a lot more than T2 & 3 but they also allow us to get Lesser Warded Helm / Shoulders / Chest which will help strengthen the family. Next feature I will be adding is a wish list. SO we can see who needs what items to be warded. This will help with scheduling dungeon runs and such.
