Is destro really that unballanced in T4? Was reading the official forums today trying to find out why the player base is disappearing and all I saw was whines whines whines from destro about OP order.
I seriously doubt that. Destro has been in our city, we have yet to get into theirs since the last patch. From what I see in T4 their crew is just earlier than ours. They raid the 3pm - 6pm block during weekdays then own us most of the weekend. They have plenty of destro they just lack the leaders at this point. There might be 2 leaders over there that the whole community follows. Watch what happens when Aion comes out. We will see a lot of departures, the world will be different then than it is now. Until then don't make assumptions that destro is hurting. The last time people rerolled destro because they were the underdog we saw a 3 month population crunch on order which cause destro to seige our city multiple times a day every day. Wasn't pretty. The main thing to see here is that forum banter is home to the whiners and gripers. Most of whats posted on them are people complaining about this and complaining about that. Most of them eventually will /quit.

I have a 55 Black Orc that I played until coming to PT. I still play it on occasion, but barely anymore. From my perspective, there is an imbalance. WP/DoK, KoTBS/Chosen, and SW/SH are about equal now; every other pairing is in Order's favor. Order has more unique abilities that Destruction just doesn't have, and the common abilities are frequently better or available to classes that offer more synergy than the Destro counterparts. You don't notice it so much in mindless zergs, but in smaller scale or organized group fights, it is substantial. Our server had a dedicated 6 man bomb group that regularly wiped warbands. They would let 30+ Destro break doors down on an undefended keep, come behind when they started the lord, and kill everyone.
