I was called out by Duvent for Ninja looting - and I didn't

I was in a WB with Duvent as the leader - I know - it was a mistake - but we were heading into the fort. During the fort take a pair of Invader Solerets dropped and it popped up as "need....greed....pass". Even though I was in the middle of a fort take - in the LR - I didn't recognize these as an engineers and moused over them - they weren't an eng. so I hit greed.

I won them and was immediately - in the middle of the fight - called out by Duvent - then he sent me a tell "why ?"

Then kicked me from the WB.

In the middle of the fight. Then sent me another /tell telling me to stay out of his WB's until I learn how to behave and he would deal with my guild.

I asked him 'WTF" you talking about and he explainned I rolled "need" on the boots.

I explained that I rolled "greed" and if I did hit "need" by mistake that it should be understandable in the middle of a fort take in the middle of the Lord's Room if "need" was clickable - then it would be the WB leaders mistake and he should blame me for him not setting the loot table correctly.

I was going to offer to give the boots to whomever needed them but his next /tell was "I will deal with your ninja looting ass with your guild" and by the time I replied with what I was going to say he logged off.

I went back and checked the log - thank god it was still there - and there were only "greed" rolls - including mine.

I have the screen shot but can't figure out how to post it. It shows only 5 peeps rolled on the item - all "greed".

I thought I would head off his rant to Ben or whomever before he starts.

Now I know I will have to defend his slander everytime our paths cross - but such is the life of a gamer when peeps like Duvent exist.

If someone explains how to post the screenshot - I will add it here.

He should have put it on 'Need on Use'. And even if you do post your Screenshot, he'd prolly just say you photoshoped it. I get frustrated easy when someone believes falsehood of me, the best that can be done is to breathe in deep and know that you're in the right. :)

Morigana upload the photo to like fliker, or photoobucket,(both are free). Once you have done that view the pic, and copy the URL and past it here. That should do it, thats how i post my screenshots. Examples check the thread post your screenshots.

I would not worry about anything that Duvent says. Ben and I both take anything he says with a grain of salt and like you said middle of a fort take , no time to read the item. If the WB leader does not have 'Need on Use' set then that is their mistake. As you said you hit greed, you won the roll. Enough said.

Nothing to worry about. If need & greed was set this would never be an issue. It's his bad if anything. Duvent was always been like that even in DAOC. Don't worry about him. We love you Morigana and will take family word over outsiders word every time.
