Hello all I just wanted to stop by and say hello and introduce myself. Since joining last week I have been exploring the website, getting vent running and generally settling in.
I have played several MMOs but my favorite by far was DAOC. That game got me hooked on RvR and any game that doesn't have a good end game option for RvR just doesn't cut it for me now. I enjoy playing healers and ranged damage dealers so I have a Runepriest and Engineer that I am leveling and I am enjoying both quite a bit. I also play Warhammer on the tabletop and have a Dwarf army :) It has been great finding a like minded group of gamers.
IRL I am a father of three and work middle management for a company doing IT support from my home office. When I am on Vent for organized events I tend to be pretty quiet but I am listening and am looking forward to progressing with you all.
I also notice that the family is interested in GW2 and Rift. RvR doesn't look like much of a focus for Rift but I will check it out more when it gets released. GW2 I am very excited about. I played the original but never had much interest for any of the expansions. That game does look great and I look forward to playing with the family there.
Anyways that is it for me... quick question though what are people using for sigs on the forums? I am seeing lots of custom sigs with details about characters and whatnot. Does anyone have a link or can explain how these are generated? Thanks and cya online.
