Something to do Dec 21st

Ok... after a hard night of gaming on Dec 21 (assuming you are still up), there will be a total lunar eclipse visible from North America. A lunar eclipse is not as spectacular as a solar eclipse, but its still pretty cool to see a blood-red full moon up in the sky. Time is "roughly midnight-ish", but see the link to the picture to adjust for your timezone. If I'm still in-game that late, I will try to remember to say something in /AS and /TUATHA to remind folk to stick their heads out the window and take a peek.

Got to hope for a clear sky here, not sure I am that confident on it happening :p

If you are in the Sac area - the Observatory in Placerville is a great place to be for this 10:30pm-12:30am. Dress warm :) (shameless plug for my astro-physics dept!)
