I know I could put this in the forum but I am afraid the developers dont read the forums so I am posting so that you may forward to Mythic,

I really dont like the new patch but in view that I still love this game and trying to make be constructive I am suggesting the following.

AOE and underdog needs to be consistent
- The BO should have a timer of 5 min for +0 and +1, +2 should be 8 min and +3 and abouve should be 10 min.
- if the underdog hits +2 and the AAO is 200+ the players should not have to release the resource runner. The point is AAO typically means the order or destro is already low in numbers and cant afford to have people sitting at a BO against greater odds.
- if Underdog is +2 and above the Rams and seige weapons should be adjusted to help the underdog.

Please post if you have any other suggestions to help the game play. DO NOT put critical comments against mythic. Lets give them some valid improvements to make the game playable again.

I noticed that we had +2 underdog yesterday and the only benefit was extra time the pairing is locked. That seems pointless and doesn't help the underdog realm as it is unlikely they would lock a pairing - so something does need to be put in the game to help the underdog realm

My suggestion is that the emblems you get with the scenarios match up to the tier. Apparently In order to get my lvl 40 rr 40 weapon i need officer emblems. I cant start working to get them until lvl 39 when I can do tier 4 scenarios at lvl 39. I will end up being rr 42-43 before I can even use the item. Mean while the weapon that I currently have will be worthless by lvl 35.

Or they should add new weapons for the lower emblems that are adjusted to the max levels of the scenarios. What good is a lvl 29 weapon when you are lvl 39? They should add a lvl 34 and a lvl 39 weapon that uses Soldier's Emblems. As far as oRvR goes, they need to do something to help keep defense. At this point, if you are not level 4 yourself, then you might as well give up and move on. I know some people found the 3 hour long keep defenses boring but this new system discourages people from mounting any sort of keep defense when you are outnumbered. I think that in their attempt to disperse the zerg, they have spread everyone too far apart. It seems to me that it was more fun when there were concentrated warbands on each side that were hacking each other to death. If I wanted smaller scale skirmishes, I'd just queue scenarios all day long.

My suggestion is about AAO when you have the numbers against you like the resource carrier all players with aao should have their Toughness/HP increased by that amount. Hell I would rather sacrifice the 200% EXP/RENOWN instead and have the bonus to stats etc. Heck even something like at 200% you get 100% dmg/healing boost and 100% extra toughness/HP for def? Then at the 300% you get the 100% exp/renown Then at the 400% level you get 200dmg/healing Just something to help even out the odds. And have it only scale with the players base stats not Gear if that causes to much over the top imbalance. But something has to to be done about the Zerg mentality and superior numbers. Next suggestion I already posted on the bioware boards :P Then ea needs to consolidate all NA servers into 1 big gigantic cluster F&*% :) Then they need to cap the Pairings like only 5-6 Warbands max in each zone worth of players. Then all 3 pairings can have a whack at it at the same time and the first to get 2 capped gets the city instance stuff, etc. Granted this only only general idea that can be expanded upon in more detail but that sums up how to fix the game today and get people playing and working together with some good strategies. Of course the AFKers in zone, etc and X-Realmers dropping their players in the zone to cap out the amount of players is given but rather sacrifice that then have lag fest where it is unplayable for all.

The AFK problem will only get worse once people figure out they get almost the same renown sitting there as they do running around in a zone. It is starting to remind me of Alterac Valley in WoW during the early days of PvP when people were going for honor rankings. Last night, we had a 3+ hour scrum in the Black Crag zone in part because half of Order was milling around instead of pushing at Destro's keep. The population imbalance seems to be tilting towards Destro in Badlands and the new system allows the larger zerg to blanket a whole zone in effect. Still, I got to fight a lot of Destro last night which is more than I can say for the week before that ;)

I would like to see a mechanic to down rank the enemy keeps through the fight. Something to maintain the fight besides standing around watching the ram swing. If there was a purpose for BOs beyond ranking up your keep to 4 - we use to need them for a lock.. now you sit and wait for carrier spawns, keep hits 4 and the BOs are abandoned. I find this to be a serious flaw in their mechanics logic. My suggestion would be to create a reason for the enemy to take BOs during the keep siege stage, by doing so down ranking our keep - thereby cutting off the additional incomming flow of resources available - griffons, bombers etc unless you held the BOs. As you lose BOs you lose what you earned - get too down ranked - no more rams until you get back to 4. Maintaining BOs as you are under seige allows for door repairs and more defensive upgrades. The only problem would be loot bags since those not in the keep get nothing - their design itself makes you abandon the BOs for a chance at a bag..not sure.. hmm. Perhaps moving to some type of overall zone contribution chest in your base keep. Calculating it though .. ouch. Skaven incoursion - if they insist on forcing instanced 65+ PvE into the lakes to reopen BOs- give the sub-65 players something to do - send in an npc skaven waves (5-6) to random BOs in the affected zone - basically reskin the old BO guards - until the 65+ complete their instance or the BOs open up again. One thing I noticed that truely sits bad with me is purposely getting killed just to get to the keep to run a ram back - I don't think you should be able to pick anything up with it - it's only 3 mins to wait .. or if they insist - seriously slow down their ability to travel with whatever they are carrying - disallow griffon flight with the death penality. off to work .. more thinking to do.

Also there is very strong lack of leadership on the Order side. Lets just say last night it was me and 4 other alliance members it chat after the city fell. I started up DW wb and it it turned into 3 WB's full we locked Elf pairing the went into KV and countered the push there. But then by time the Destro Locked Empire pair their full zerg force was all focused into TM. Now for that few hours I tried to lead people best I could, and now I understand how hard it is to get even 1 group to follow your orders. As everyone has their own idea of what to do. So in the end the Destro zerg won cause order refused to attack all out on their Keep while they hit ours and we had their outer door already down and they had to hit 2 doors instead. Cuase even though we had AAO i was able to work with 1 other wb and get the resources to Keep level 4 before destro did. Once their zerg countered and shield wall the outerdoor corerctly with numbers. They all flooded to our keep. I wanted everyone to get to WC and push the inner keep. While 1 group grabbed rams and griffon ride them over but none listed but small group and they only had 1 WB protecting their inner keep. So order failed and I logged for the night.

I just want to be able to whittle at the door - even if it's just for a few points at a time - If there is no defense, there is nothing to do... (That was how my WP would keep his Morale 4 ready... by chain-throwing rocks at the door... heh heh...)

Just a few thoughts: Have resources spawn as soon as you take a BO, let players carry them, do not show the location on the map. This would mean you can hit and run resources and still rank your keep, and it gets the players involved in the running, ya know pvp and all. Have underdog and/or aao increase the amount of resources returned per run. Have underdog/aao affect the number of hit points the keep door has. (+ for undermanned side, - for the zerg side) Make turning in resources repair the door.

I agree with Stoat on being able to do something during keep attacks. Let me dig a tunnel under the wall so I can scurry out and get myself killed inside. Let me plant some flowers on the side to make the scenery prettier. Anything is better than staring blankly at the door and mentally willing it to go down faster. If you are melee and you didn't are not on the ram and you didn't get a siege weapon, then you basically hide behind the healers now so you don't take needless ranged damage.

Heres my suggestions: Allow guilds to claim keeps again- allow them to upgrade to have a hero and 4 champ gaurds. Then door rank, champ gaurds on group floor and outside, healer, +number of griffons, +rams, +sieges, and Keep lord health. Id like to see guilds be a bigger part in the game. Another suggestion would be to allow keeps to downrank without a steady flow of income and to give bo's gaurds the longer that one realm has it claimed. This would allow more people to head to a keep for a fight and npc reinforcements would head to the BO. Last suggestions is to let people attack a door during a keep fight, but make it so they do MUCH less damage than on a normal player(10% maybe?). Just some suggestions!

Okay so I got this epic purple drop AM staff RR 98. So I went online today to buy the Progression Pack. ( I really want to swing it ) I have 1 more suggestions about what they should do if you buy this feature it should unlock the level cap at say around 15 or so so you can keep gaining renown level past your character level as well :P This way I can get my alt up faster too :P

Well I'm sure they cap renown versus career level because of balance reasons. With the extra renown points, you could conceivably have a much powerful character and that would present problems in scenarios and such. I do think they should lift this restriction as soon as you can get to level 30+. That would help the renown grind without terribly imbalancing scenarios.

I had always wondered why there was a Rank/RR cap - I think you have the answer Bentmer... Keep the cap until you hit T4, then drop the restriction.

Ok after reading ask the posts and the complaints I have the answer. Roll it back to 1.3 and either cut the monthly sub or be rid of it altogether. Starting to think the party's over... Kudos to you roughing it out. By the way did they fix the server stability or just cut and cap the population? There's a suggestion, put some of the expansion (LMAO!) money into upgrading server performance.

Just in for today's hot fix: Realm vs. Realm Open RvR Resource Carrier affected by the Against All Odds buff will now repair a percentage of health to a damaged Keep Door upon successfully delivering their resources to their Realm’s Keep or Warcamp. My only question is .. with AAO will they defend or will greed take over and we can go ninja BOs back... if anything, its a start! oh also : General Players who have purchased the Personality portion of The Verminous Horde RvR Pack, the Trusty Mount Account Entitlement or the Snotling Herald Pet Account Entitlement may now exchange their vanity pets/mounts for a different color as often as they like! To exchange your pet or mount, simply right click to interact with the display version of the color you desire in the Capital City and your pet will be exchanged! Mount Vendors may be found in the War Quarters in Altdorf and near the Monolith in The Inevitable City. Snotling Herald Vendors may be found outside of the Library in Altdorf and near the Lyceum in The Inevitable City. Finally, Personality Pack Vanity Pet displays may be found in the War Quarters in Altdorf and the Undercroft in The Inevitable City.

looks like you get about 5% door health back with a resource carrier - that was a short route though so a longer one may give you more

Interesting. At least now there is a reason to escort them after the keep gets to be rank 4. It's something else to do, I guess... though I definitely do see the strategic value of this.

Hmm since I have yet to see a successful keep defense, in any tier, .. do we even get anything for defending?

Yes, you are SUPPOSED to get RPs for defense - If you dont release after you die and stay until the attackers get their tick... There is something buggy in the system though, 'cause I've only gotten points on a couple of defenses so far

Also I'm not sure how anyone is going to be able to get Invader and up gear with this system. I've captured about eight keeps since the patch and I haven't been rewarded for any of them. No loot roll, no tokens.

I'd honestly still like to see the side with the bigger zerg get a debuff, rather than buffing the AAO side. If they have bigger numbers, debuff their health and stats by an increasing percentage as the AAO grows. Heck even give the side with AAO NPCs again, scale them with the AAO buff. They need to make defending keeps more rewarding as well, start offering defending players a scaling bonus of RR/XP/INF every 5-10mins of holding the keep against an attack. They may even want to start thinking about having a rare chance at Sov gear from keep defense for T4. Just my thoughts.

I also think there will be bottlenecks with Invader and up tokens soon. Part of it is a result of the RvR pack. At the rate of renown gain, I will be well over rr45 by the time I hit level 40. (And that is with using the WAR Tract at lvl 39) The other part is the bugs affecting keep loot. I'm a bit skeptical about their explanation that only the people getting bags now see the chest. When the patch first came out, I didn't get the roll either but I could see the chest and the emote of people reaching into the chest and getting their bags. Now I don't see either so it's hard to even know if anyone is getting loot. I think they need to adjust when they reward renown/xp/infl a little bit to keep more people active in the zone. Right now, the BO takes/defenses are all rewarded when the zone is locked. I think they need to reward those before because there really is little incentive to stealing BO's in a zone that you know you'll lose. I haven't gotten a 'loser' tick yet in any zone as of yet. But the biggest problem is the AFKers. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the solution is in this situation. In the old system, if you were away from the zerg then you lost out on the xp. The new system encourages you to split up by not requiring you to be there to get the xp. But that also allows people to stand on the hill in the middle of nowhere and get the same rewards. What is making matters worse is the AFKers are counting towards AAO. I'm assuming Destro has the same problem than us but it doesn't seem so on the field.

I've seen loot and gotten loot for keep takes with my magus .. <3 my magus, if only the engi could be just as fun The AFKers just annoy me, not only did they afk through all the rr while I sat bored off my arse knitting at a BO and babysitting a carrier but they also screw up AAO- which is even worse.. I should hire Plumpjack and point out all the hidey holes they are in.
