So I hit 50...Now what?

I am now a 50 Rogue(Ranger) with no clue what to do about gear, dungeons etc.

Congratulations on reaching 50! 1. You can run Random Normal Dungeons and/or chronicles for gear drops and Plaques of Achievement. 2. You can spend Plaques of Achievement at the minor relic vendors. 3. You can spend Planarite at the Planar vendors. 4. You can spend Favor at the PvP vendors. 5. You can spend FVC here on the marketplace, or craft your own gear. Hover over your stats on the "c" screen to see the requirements for toughness/hit/focus depending upon your role (heal/dps/tank/support) to get into Random Expert Dungeons. Then you can do Random Expert Dungeons for better drops, Marks of Ascension and/or Greater Marks of Ascension (which can be spent at the Major and Elder Relic vendors). Then, raiding...

Instant Adventures, Zone events and Ember Isle onslaught invasions are great ways to earn xp for your planar attunement. The Ember Isle story line can be followed to the end for a piece of gear (pants) that is equivalent to Greenscale's Blight level gear. Inscribed Sourcestones can be used to buy high quality gear, so save up those. Your sigil is an important part of your character. If you can, save up the Sourcestones and buy the best you can from the planar vendors (fire, water, air, etc). They are expensive, sometimes costing 100 sourcestones each, but we'd be bored without something to work towards eh? :) PvP warfronts are open for you, and they are matched, meaning you (probably) won't be put against a team of rank 40s! My personal favorite is to run experts with other Gaiscioch. Whatever you do, pick something you have fun doing. Rift is good about letting you reach the same goal different ways, so play around and find what you enjoy!

Thanks for the tips. Any advice on getting coin? I am still on my basic horse, have 47 plat to my name and need to get the level 50 horse. I understand that it costs 125P. My movement speed on horse is way to slow.

Well, for one you keep leveling up, just now in planar attunement. hit 'u' on your keyboard to access. I think you may need to do the solo chronicle 1st though. For money, do experts and 10 mans (that pop up weekly) IA doesn't hurt either. And definitely attend Fogs weekly guild events (both Guardian and Defiants fighting towards the same goal)

If you do an IA you can get a free 110 mount, or doing the Hammerfell chronicle could also grant you one. Drop rates are rare though. I hit 50 while back and I was completely lost too, so i you ever need help, feel free to send Malyss or Zhaar (me) a tell ingame and I'm more than willing to help out.
