New Rank Groupings In RIFT (In-Game Only)

Before anyone freaks out let me put your mind at ease. In RIFT pre this change our roster looked like this:

Now Permission wise it was setup just like it is now

All we've done is group the ranks which are each part of the same group of ranks within our site together. If anything you've gained more accessibility to features. While it looks like people got demoted it's not actually demoted. Were getting rid of 4 ranks In Game and moving people down into those first 4 ranks. This will make maintenance of the family a whole lot easier and I hope we can continue to grow without raising the time required to maintain the family.

THIS CHANGE DOES NOT EFFECT PERMISSIONS, ON SITE RANKS, OR POINTS REQUIRED FOR YOUR NEXT RANK. THIS ONLY SIMPLIFIES THE IN GAME SYSTEM FOR EASIER MANAGEMENT

I went from Officer to Vet Member but the bank vault privalages have reverted back to way back when. Is this also being changed to reflect the simplification of guild ranks? Also lost officer chat. Kittara d-side Kittararae g-side

FYI Same here: went from officer to vet member and lost officer chat and vault credits.

Permissions havent been set have to change over 1,200 characters ranks. Keep in mind Officers are becoming the same rank number as lorgair. I didn't want to give all the lorgairs the officer benefits before i got all the ranks synced. I'll be tagging the permissions once i get all the promotions done.

it does seem simpler to know who is whom from a new joinee's perspective. And it does seem like it'd be less work to maintain the updates, especially considering the guild is so BIG.

Should be all set. Theres a few people that dont seem to be tripping the flag gonna look through and figure whats different with them. Permissions are all setup.

Probably a really good thing to have happen. And much easier to keep organized and such. And I am sure this will make Prissy's job easier when she does all the promotions once a week, and anyone else who does them as well.

Ah okay that explains why I don't have an officer chat or privileges any more lol. Doggone it and I just earned 'em! :P

Actually you should still have officer chat. More people in fact have officer chat. Those who were Officer Rank are now Veteran Members which has Officer Chat. I synced both sides of the family last night made every permission exactly the same. So both sides of the family run the same now.
