PVP team wanted

I have always hated pvp but I have actually been having fun lately. In the year that Rift has been out until last week I had pretty much only tried it twice. Now I love to spend my time in any warfront i can get into.

The problem is as with all pvp that I have participated in (and not just in Rift) is organization. I can't count how many times I have seen ppl try to lead a random pvp and no one listens or they butt heads with 3 other ppl who all have their own ideas. I think there would be a lot more winning if everyone picked a strategy and did it.

For those of you who enjoy an occasional warfront i was hoping we could get together on whtevr day and do it as a guild. If you are interested please let me know by responding in a post below.

No pvp gear required we can level and gear up together. I myself only have 4 pieces so far. If you think you know a thing or two about warfronts please say so as I am not a stategy genius I am just putting out the idea to organize.

I'd be game for some warfronts sometime.

I like playing in PvP but not sure when you are thinking about running them. My work schedule is kind of odd... 2 evenings, 2 afternoons and 1 morning. If you could let me know, I might have a better answer for you.

My schedule is totally wierd too. Just want to see if I can get a decent amount of ppl then try to find a comon time when we all can play. I got 5 pieces of pvp gear nao!! :)

I've found over the years, getting a group together is less about WHO or WHAT, and more about WHEN. Figure out a time you can play regularly and find a handful of other people with the same window of free time... then you can focus on playing together at that time and working on your skills as a team. Unforutunately, if your time available to play is sporadic and hard to predict, it's very difficult to get any consistent group of people to roll with, so you have to just be flexible and have a rotating rolodex of cohorts.

Wich tier PvP pieces, Thyth? I actually have many pieces for my PvP set (working on the 2nd tier PvP now) Finally to the point I don't die in 1 - 2 seconds lol Now often it takes like 4-5 seconds ;) So I am improving heheh And just sometimes, I can actually kill a few :) Some of those guys with the best equip are really really hard not to die to lol

Hi guys, new member here but I fully agree Thyth. I don't know how many times I've beat my head against a wall when seeing a clear strategy to win and no one listens. While the other side does exactly that and rolls everyone. Case in point, one weekend I realized, Whitefall Escalation has a very clear strategy with timing and position where and when the shards spawn just like any raid boss and when calling out where to be and when to the group, only on rare occasion would people listen but when they did and moved accordingly we won hands down. Simple rule of attrition. Put more bodies on one spot than the other side and you have a much better chance of success. Also watch the map, where you team is and where the fang/shard/enemy runner is and you have better chance of success. There are clear objectives in every WF but somehow most either don't know, see it nor follow or if in lower brackets care just enough about the xp to get by with losing. I would be willing to lead any PVP groups when I'm on anytime. Thraxis is a PVP and tank has most of his 2nd tier gear and I'm focused mostly on pvp in regards to his development. Currently rank 22. My mage is rank 8 with maybe 4-5 pieces but it doesn't really matter to a degree if you just keep pushing the objective. Most raid or expert instance gear will do great and even if you have only blue gear, are a fresh 50, there are builds out there to help in support of the team so you can make a difference. Right now I'm not working so I'm on most of the day leveling a pvp cleric and on late at night. I can play a defiant cleric in the 20-30 bracket so far as well. Will be getting her in guild. Or on Guardian side a tank, mage or rouge. Whatever is needed. Cheers!

Very doubtful I will be able to conform to any schedule, since mine is all over the place, but if I am online would love to group up with some guild folks! :) G side I have Chalcedony (cleric, raid healing spec) rank 28-30 She has all tier 7-8 pvp gear. D side I have Blues lev 40 cleric who is speced exactly like Chal (not on her too terribly much currently)

Awesome thats 5 ppl so far. I'm sure we can start to think of at least one day when we can all get together. And very cool Thraxis I will need your help. Lets start with when we can't do. I am in Eastern time zone which is 3 hours ahead of server time. Monday's are out for me completely. Tues - Thurs I am am not home and ready to play until 10:00pm my time or 7:00pm server. Fridays would be the same only 9pm Eastern or 6 server. Sat I could specifically set asid time when ever to this. Sun same as Sat only every other sun I leave at 6:30pm and don't get back until 10 10:30ish my time. So daytime on Sun is better. Let me know whats the what and we can see about starting to put this together.

Well I really only play on D side right now. What level ranges are you interested in and which side do you play for? (I'm pacific time here)

Hey Saren. I only have Defiant characters. And my pvp character is level 50 so I would only be able to do level 50 warfronts. If there is enough interest we could expand to other levels.

I have a 50 mage, 32 cleric and 39 rogue (not really working on my level 14 warrior but I do have one in that range hehe) Later in the week I typically work til 5pm pst (thur and fridays) and Sat until 3pm
