East Coast Groups

I would like to put together a 10 Man Defiant Group to run on Either Monday, Tuesday or/and Thursday nights for the “East Coast Family” Currently there are a few 10 man’s being run in the guild but unfortunately the times are geared more towards West Coasters. Currently I’m still only level 45 but plan on really pushing myself the rest of this week to get Level 50. I wouldn’t mind getting together 5 of us and we start gearing up together and grow number wise to meet the requirement of a 10 man Raid Group.

So, Obviously we’re going to need to meet the Minimum Requirements, which are:
200 Hit/Focus
100 Toughness

If you are an East Coast player that can Play from 7pm (4pm Server) Eastern – 9pm (6pm Server) Eastern and would like to participate, please list your ingame name, class and type. I will contact you all and find which day / days are best for us. I plan on being our MT so, that spot is taken.

Also, From now until I get to 50 I am going to be doing plenty of Rift Sealing, Foothold Clearing, Random Normal Dungeons and Instant Adventures, so if any of you would like to hang out, please let me know in game.

Well Mumps you know ME in game as Zartanz. I am east coast and currently part of the current raid group. I had been lvling Zartanz for a second group i had hoped to run on Tuesday and Thursday nights. As we have a number of raid ready family members who can not join the Friday and Sunday fun. So you can count me in as long as my RL Schedule permits.

Those times and days work great for me Mumpy. Have a Mage and cleric that are raid ready. Eeers = Archon/DPS/Raid Chloro Agnellus = Tank/DPS/Raid Healing

OMG as IF I could stay away after seeing this!! Those days and times are perfect for me. Thank you so much for doing this Mumpy. I've been working on getting my lil mage up, shes 41 and with this here I have a good reason to be pushing her. Bellaa - cleric MT/Raid heals Arrya - rogue 51 mm/51 bard (BUT only signing her up as a fill in if we really need her on occasion) Bellabella - <--- she could potentially be my main,only 41, but already acquiring gear for her so at 50 she pretty much should be. She'll have a similar spec to Eeers (he is my mage mentor lol) I have so much fun with her, never ever thought I'd find one I like as much as my cleric .. but thats a secret soo shhh don't tell anyone :D

So just a little update to where we stand now: Myself Level 47 Warrior - Tank Bellabella Level 41 Eeers = Archon/DPS/Raid Chloro Ineluki = Level 50 Cleric Heals Brijet = Level 48 Rogue Zartanz = Level 43 Mage - Heals That looks like a pretty good group!

Also don't forget my cleric, probably would rather play him, but not a big deal we can see how the raid comes together and figure out which would help the group more. And don't let Bellaa fool you she REALLY want to use her rogue ;-) Also as alot of the group is still leveling and gearing up maybe we can set the days and start running some expert rifts to help you guys out on the essences and stuff until you are ready for the new expert dungeons and then we can run those to get everyone ready for the 10 man stuff. I like the idea of Monday and Tues, with the 2 hour time we don't get to burnt if we are struggeling on a boss, but we can come back the next night while it's still fresh in our minds. I have often seen a group struggle for a while one night only to come back the next and get it on the first or second try. But I guess the nights will have to work for as many people as possible.

Just want to echo what Eeers is saying... Eeers.. Eeers.. ha! and to him that hath Eeers to hear, let him hear what the bellaa saith ... I'm going to get on Arrya now and get that MountainEEERS title! (One I believe YOU still don't have ;P) That'll learn ya!

Ok, so a little update on everything, First of all I made 50 last night and spent most of the night and a few hours this morning getting gear so I can Tank the Expert Dungeons. Huge, HUGE Thank you to Eeer and Vynth for helping me last night. They are both truly assets to this family. Mump – Level 50 Warrior – 238 Hit / 109 Toughness Bellaa – Level 50 Cleric – Heals Ineluki – Level 50 Cleric – Support Eeers – DPS or Cleric Brijet – Level 50 Rogue – DPS Zartanz – Heals Sounds great Eeers, Also, I would like to get with you to show me how to do all of the “Admin” work for properly listing the Raid on the Forums here so we can get points for our efforts. While we’re on the subject, Eeers and Vynthe helped me tremendously last night with getting gear and getting all geared up to do Expert Dungeons. A couple weeks ago I invited Ineluki and Brijet to the Family after we met in a Random Dungeon. They truly are new to the game. Could you all help in showing them what they need as far as getting geared up for these Expert Dungeons and how to Obtain that gear? I try to help them as much as I can but I think you guys would have more knowledge and could help them more. For example, I’m not sure they know about the Planar Greater and Lesser Essences that boosts your stats. See you all ingame! Mump

Had a good time Mump, why don't we go ahead and put on the calendar for Monday night at 7, i don't think we will be ready by then, but we can maybe answer any questions and do something as a group. Get a good feel for where we are at in forming the group. We could go till 9 as you original plan then those that can stay we can joing in the telara's last stand which is a great place to get the planarite and stones for those essences u speak of. I won't be able to be around much this weekend i will be watching my nieces on sat and the superbowl is Sunday. But i'm sure i will pop in some. Grats again on 50.

Eeers that's a great idea! I've gotten a lot better geared since the last time we adventured together, I think you're gonna be happy with my improvements!

A /bump for Mr Mump! Another idea is the Herald of Discord :)

LOL, Thank you. I did some research on the Herald of Discord and below is some information I found on it. You can get the quest from Dragomir from Zareph's Return Main aspects of the fight: 1. Must have multiple tanks to rotate aggro. 2-3 tanks are usually used, and while I've been in groups that got away with downing him using 2 tanks, having 3 makes things a bit easier on them all. Baron Krevic will put a stacking debuff (max x5) on his target that increases their damage taken. At max stacks, the target risks getting one-shotted by a critical hit, so it's ideal for tanks to switch before they reach 5 stacks. 2. Avoid ground effects. There will be red circles that are periodically placed around the room, and they do a LOT of damage. Just move out of them, preferably before they are placed (there will be a small indication of where one will land via spell effects). The healers will have their hands full as it is---avoiding this damage is necessary for everyone to stay alive. 3. DPS the adds. Ranged dps is ideal for this job, though melee can help out if adds pop near them. The skeletons have a stun effect when they hit, so having one latch onto a healer can be disastrous. DPSing the adds ASAP is necessary for a successful kill. I have not done this before, so if it’s something everyone would like to do tonight, I’m all for it. I am not sure of how many people we need to successfully do it, we can decide tonight. I think Eeers is right on about getting together tonight and just basically meet and greet and see where everyone stands with their gear and make the first raid based off that.

I really hope we get a good number tonight and can discuss beginning Gilded Prophecy as a Regular Raid and then move up from that. Whatcha think?

Agreed Mr Mump, as far as the Herald goes, I know Eeers and I have done it plenty of times and general rule of thumb is one full raid, though that depends on gear, we've done it with less.. and hey if not tonight, perhaps next week. It is a weekly raid and doesn't take that long to do and hey while we're at it, if we have enough to kill him why not do a DRR .. etc. As Eeers suggested with doing The Queen, there are a few mobs that you need groups for that are just not being done. I'll go look and see if I find any, I tend to play by the seat of my pants accepting and deleting quests as I have or need room for, and have not spent much time looking into such things.. lazy.. spacy.. preferring to hit or touch something to say.. oooh THAT'S what THAT does heh! But looking forward to tonight, it sounds like we'll have a lot of fun no matter what :D hmmm FUN.. reminds me of a song .. dorky .. but I like it <3 But then again I tend to resemble him a bit too much at times ... not really sure how to feel about that now that I think about it .. hmmm

Mr Mump! Sorry .. somehow missed what you said about GP. Though too I'd like to say thanks for posting those strats for that Herald fight.. it's really not so hard, so long as people understand what their role is in it and do it. (Though always seemed to me that big dps was an issue as those adds needed to go down as fast as possible) We can talk about that tonight as well as GP. Though DH is a bit easier, I don't see why we can't start with GP. But, so you know, the group I'm in on Gside may have broken GP heh no lie lol. .. for two weeks, and then even the third (though we unbugged him).. the last boss bugged on us and we couldn't finish .. and now this week it was the second boss .. no lie .. I think GP is skeerd of us is all :P But ya, somethings been up with it.. or perhaps its just that group lol

The baron will take pretty close to 20 50's, and the adds have a nasty habit of one shotting. anyone under 47 or so. Raid rifts will also take close to 20 50's. Been a while but I think the queen is set up for 10 now and can do expert rifts with 5 good people. So we will see what we have and come up with a plan. would be nice get the baron for the new and almost 50, the first time u do the quest u get a nice pair of pants. Hopefully I will get off work a little early today so maybe see u then.

I'm sorry I thought this was a group for lvl 50's? I was talking about this with the understanding that this was an attempt to eventually start a dh/gp group for those of us that really need earlier runs than the normal 6pm server. (Questioning because you mentioned people under 50)

On the original list Mump had, everyone wasn't 50 yet. i Don't know where everyone is at, kkinda what the meeting is all about tonight.

I would like to be included. Kashan (Tank/DPS) is Raid 1 1/2 ready, and Siani (Duracell) is the same. Kashan is my main on D side.
