So I've recently run out of things to play in my time since I left Rift. I don't plan on going back mainly because I can't afford the subscription. So if anyone knows of any good fantasy games (MMO or RPG) that are cheap, please post here!

How bout you update your email address sucka! :D I keep trying to send you the emails but you never write back. I'm sad panda! Going to be spending weekends in GW1 I know you wanna get up on that :D
I get bombarded with emails from school so I must've just missed it. I'll be glad to help anyone get to 30/50 HoM. I'm currently helping a friend from school do it too. Lemme know what's going on with it.
Schaab if you like gameplay>graphics, try out Mount & Blade:Warband or Mount & Blade:With Fire & Sword. It's a single player rpg/rts game made by an indie developer. The focus is on fighting. You can parry left/right/top/bottom/thrust, or block the same, or attack the same. But it is pretty tough, but a very fun game once you figure it out. Plus I think you can get either one for like 10 bucks or less now.
You can become a trader, mercenary for multiple lords, vassal for a single faction, become a king yourself, or just be a rebel that fights everyone (I wouldn't recommend it, I tried this once...EXTREMELY hard.). Good thing is if you choose one, you can always change after that (minus the king or rebel, those stick).
Warband focuses on the Medieval era with jousting tournaments, marrying the right lady for connections, and mounted knights and mounted combat. With Fire & Sword, it's more about pikemen, ranked fire from muskets, and grenades.

Vampiresbane I appreciate the idea, but that is one of the games I just played for awhile. It's a great game and even carried me some extra time with a Lord of the Rings mod I found. It's for the original Mount & Blade, but if you're a LOTR fan you should definitely check it out.
World of tanks, fun gameplay, but only instanced PvP, it is free though
Track Mania 2 Canyon, Sonic Generations, Dungeon Defenders, and Borderlands are the games I've been bouncing between to keep from going insane.
Borderlands is great. Played that for quite awhile too. Right now I'm trying LOTR: Online what's the opinions on it? It seems ok so far. Though I'm a little disappointed in the easiness
SCHAAB! I need your steam/phone number anything to contact you ASAP!!!!!!!
Steam name: schaaby_31
Use to work for a GameStop! Let's see here... I second the idea of trying Borderlands, though it's a lot more fun with more than one person. If you haven't tried Skyrim, you're really missing out on something wonderful. Beautiful graphics, never-ending quests (literally -- the game is made to constantly generate quests infinitely, they just won't be as intricate as the main story quests). I suggest this game over anything else. Those who have brought back for trade in usually said they had it was because it was eating up their free time due to them being obsessed with it, not because they didn't like it. Borderlands 2 is coming out in a little while (maybe 2013), so if you want an RPG I would suggest Borderlands and you can eventually play the second one, which is looking to be absolutely amazing. The game is very fun, has a lot of humor to it, and all of the classes are enjoyable to play. I would, however, suggest finding a buddy to play with. It's absolutely fine just playing by yourself, but it's a LOT more fun with a friend. You can play with up to 4 players. There are also cheaper games available on Steam, such a Spiral Knights. Spiral Knights is free-to-play, and it's ADORABLE. I'm not sure what the community is like, but it's an MMO and is very unique in its gameplay. A little dungeon-crawly, but fun; I played the first few parts myself and liked it a lot. There are things in-game you can buy, such as gear and credits, so consider yourself forewarned; it's one of those titles that allows you to pay your way if you're lazy. It has a weird energy system that you can pay through... You would have to check it out yourself. I hope some of this helped c: Sorry it's so long .___.
or if you like battle strategy games as much as you like doing mmo RvR strategy, you could try out: Empire Total War Napoleon Total War Shogun 2 Total War (with xpacs Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai (comes out in March)) All three are absolutely fantastic.
I am playing Reckoning by Big Huge Games and it is pretty sweet! It is what Fable should have been
I currently have Empire Total War and Shogun 2. Didn't enjoy empire as much and so I didn't get Napoleon. How is it? I played the demo and felt like it was Fablish too. I couldn't get myself to buck up the $60 dollars though. I have a question on it, from the demo it seemed the Tuatha were the bad guys. Any relation/comments to this Tuatha?
steam has great weekend sales. i like steam for finding good content. i have Skyrim on steam - not sure that qualifies as cheap - but after having a slow start w/ Skyrim i'm really into it now.

You could always play skyrim! I've put 280 + hours into it since release lol.
Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning...kind of a mix of any Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age:origins, and Fable

Still gonna say that Track Mania 2 is a good time sync. I'd recommend it to ANYONE who EVER liked ANY racing game EVER. PAX Trailer from last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaaKFVECOQo My Youtube Channel that I'll be uploading replays to: http://www.youtube.com/user/Wolfie64/videos
I am liking Kingdoms of Amular. It has pretty colours, really fluid quick conbat, and a decent storyline. Nothing groundbreaking, but well designed and fun to play.
I love skyrim, but sadly it seems my game file has become too large and the 5 minute loading screens are unbearable. Anyone know if they have a way to fix that?
Kingdoms of Amular is pretty good. I feel a little weird though, fighting against an organization called the Tuatha :p
If you are looking for some free mmos. Try http://www.gpotato.com/. Allods and Iris Online are a few o my favorite games by them (both mmorpgs). Also try some sites like mmosite.com and mmorpg.com. They will tell you what new F2p and P2p games are coming out and also offer beta keys all the time. You can also try a site like http://www.kongregate.com/ They have a lot of independent games of all varieties. Sorry about not making the site links all pretty. Im not really sure how to do it.
