Looking for a new laptop for gaming and school. Looking to spend around 1600 dollars, mostly for Rift and Diablo 3 when it finally comes around. Any suggestions? :).

[watches this post closely] I will be in the market for a laptop in a similar price range soon. I just want to make sure my job continues after this project I am working on goes out, before committing the cash :)
Maybe a stupid question, but I'm curious. Is there a reason you're going with a laptop over a desktop if you're indeed purchasing it for gaming? I ask because desktops are generally easier to upgrade later and usually cheaper for better parts. But if you travel a lot or something, then it makes perfect sense to want a laptop over a desktop. That way you can continue to hang with us from wherever you happen to be! As far as the link goes, I'm not entirely sure what you've chosen parts-wise because it just selected "Standard" for everything. Aside from the RAM & Wifi card, were there any other particulars you were choosing on their list?
I'm choosing a laptop because i have my desktop for gaming, but I also want to have a laptop for when I am not at home for longer periods of time. This summer I may be working at a beach and I'm not dragging my desktop there and back. As for the selections on that link, Everything except for the ram and wifi card I left standard.

Now I'm looking into http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152295 Slightly cheaper. If anyone has any suggestions or comments I would love to hear them. Hoping to order within the next few days.
