You may want to submit reviews on something like Yelp! or Urban Spoon type apps and include your website addy in the review. Might help to draw people to your site. I'm assuming you already have the domain. Are you designing it yourself or going with a blogging platform. I'll toss in my 2 cent suggestion for WordPress. Good luck to you! I love the excitement of prep and launch for a site :)
@Hopeful - I will try to make it as amusing as possible, something that people can get a laugh at and have something to talk about while they are at the restaurant reviewed. @Zivah - I am doing a wordpress site with it. I am using the Gantry Framework right now and I am liking the way it is looking. I'd also like to get your 2cents on it also =) As soon as it is up I will post the site link. It's been a big hit with most of my friends, I also did some outside testing to see what people think. Out of 100 friends, 2 didn't like the idea and found it offensive. Out of 100 strangers, none of them found it offensive and their reaction was laughter instantaneously. I hope this goes over as well as it has started out. If anyone would like to help with site logos and graphics, I have penciled sketches of what I'd like to use. And, I could really use the help =)
