So my best friend posted this on my page. See, so many who know me, her, my kids too LOL .. tend to call me "dork" .. though I tell um .. get it right, that's ..

When I was growing up, "dork" was used in my family as a term of endearment. Trying to get my siblings to switch over to "derp," though. It's not working. :s
Ya, it's how it's always been meant.. but it's always made me think, I mean the use of the word as it used today is quite funny because when I was growing up, it had an entirely different meaning, one more descriptive of a male body part! hahahaha um .. *sits and ponders the implications of all the years of being called this thinking it was an endearing term when it may possibly have not been?... and by her own children none the less .. hmmm * Derp ???
