12496 - 2862 are the /loc coordinates of an ore deposit I submitted as a discovery.
However, once submitted, something on the website rounded the numbers to 12500 - 2860.
I believe all the nodes I submitted last night may have suffered the same fate.
That is normal. :) This ensures that we don't end up with a bunch of entries in the database all representing one node. Taking just a small step in any direction off of the node changes the coordinates. For instance, you may be at 12496,2862 but the next person to try to enter it may stand at 12497,2862. We don't want both of those entries in the database, so the rounding helps to prevent duplicates.
Yup that's the way its built. It also makes it easier to map. Unfortunately an ember isle map is going to be a bit difficult. Unless trion releases a different high rez map file.
