We are looking to start a raid, Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. server. We plan to run 3 hours at a minimum, more if possible (and if everyone involved is happy with it).
Usual raid rules apply: Commit to attending, be prepared with food, potions, stones, etc., and be ready fifteen minutes beforehand. Minimum hit/focus is 200 for everyone.
Main tank: Kyllin
Offtank: Fireshield
Cleric healer: Rshiel
Cleric healer: Lumenbarba
Mage: Lyrissa
1st DPS: Sea
2nd DPS: Moyrra
3rd DPS: Muireach/Sionn
4th DPS: Ziphayl
5th DPS: Bloodburner
As mentioned a couple additional people for when someone has an emergency won't be ignored, but this will be our core group. [Updated 11/26/11]
Please sign up below if you're interested in joining, can commit to the time every week (we're trying to avoid "fill ins" every week, as it detracts from performance), and meet the requirements.
Our 'end goal' is to be clearing GP, DH, and/or HK on a weekly basis, two a week.
Both of us have come from both attending and leading "progression" style raids, and we're avoiding that playstyle for the most part. However, we are taking the better parts of that and applying it here.
Notably: If you can't attend, don't expect us to hold the raid up for you. If you aren't prepared, don't expect to be invited back. If you can't be serious for boss fights, don't expect to be invited back. If you can't hold your temper (and your tongue when appropriate) don't expect to be invited back.
We expect to have fun in vent, but when the boss is on the table, most of that will be held up for before and after. The longest boss fight I've seen is around 10 minutes, so that shouldn't be an issue.
If there are concerns, both Rsh & I listen to all suggestions and complaints, and will address them appropriately. Childish fits of anger will not be tolerated (you have been warned).
Loot Rules are as follows:
1 piece per person. IF a piece drops, and NO ONE else wants it, it can be rolled on by someone that has already won a piece. Spec indifference: We realize that people run multiple specs on their toons, but for the most part we're trying to gear the spec you're raiding with. This means that if, say, Kyllin rolls on a dps piece, and a warrior that's with us runs dps, the warrior will win, but if Kyllin rolls on a tanking piece, and the dps warrior with us rolls on it, Kyllin would win by default. This applies to all classes. If you're there as DPS, you have priority on DPS rolls along with other DPS.
Our first day will be the 19th of November. We'll start either DH or GP, depending on the opinion of a majority vote at the time given.
Our "hopeful" makeup is another warrior for offtanking, 2 more mages, and 3 rogues. Obviously, we'll not force that (signups are signups).
Fill ins will inevitably happen (real life emergencies will always be more important than the game).
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to ask myself or Rshiel when we're online.
