Am I correct in thinking we cannot claim a discovery if the one we are trying to enter into the log, already appears in the drop down menu?
I'm assuming that 99% of the world and its contents have already been ferreted out, so it is a long shot of ever getting an 'undiscovered' discovery.
Im not sure of the answer but I there is a new area they are about to open up full of new discoveries. Ember Isle or something like that.
You can make discoveries if you find an item (usually an artifact or resource node) in a place it was not previously listed.
It won't allow duplicate coordinates but were trying to map all of the things in that dropdown. After 1.6 there will be even more available. Ill be doing another collection parse once they release the next api.
Here is an example: I am still trying to locate every artifact in Silverwood. Just because you pick Scotty up at the log does not mean that is the only place to pick Scotty up. Also if you go to that same spot you might pick up Asha. Then next time pick up rotting flesh. When you post these on the websit, if they have not been found at this location it is a new discovery. I still have not completed all the discoveries in Silverwood. My theory is I will post what I have and if it says already found I will go to the next one I have on my paper. Ihave promised Fog I will complet silverwood, eventually.

But what about titles/achievements etc? Everybody get the same ones eventually, right? So there's not likely going to be one I get that's not already listed lol.
