When I lead a run (any type) I receive Honor Points, and Valor. However my Fellowship points don't move at all. I am wondering if we get Fellowship points when we lead a run or if we just get the when we participate in others. Seems to me if we do lead an event we should receive Fellowship as well. Maybe i'm doing something wrong so if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great...Thanks in advance ( I have also tried to go to participate after I lead one but cant see it since I lead it)

I'm just real confused, which isnt hard to do btw :) lol...so many options everywhere...also super cool addition to the top of the site where we can see our stats at a glance on any page...prudy cool.

From my understanding of this: Fellowship points and Leadership points are different, by design. The goal is for everyone to not only lead things, but to also participate in other's events to perhaps see a different leadership style, to provide guidance and support for a new up-and-coming leader in your role as a team member, and to make sure there is plenty of incentive to interact with others within the Family. When you first start out, your rank progression is based more heavily on your participation in events lead by others - this gives you a chance to see how leading is done in the Family and to spend time getting to know fellow members. As your rank gets higher, the weight of that shifts more to leading and contributing, and less fellowship, but it still matters to continue to be a part of things others lead as well. I hope that helps. I support how this is set up and I would like to see a continued emphasis on joining in with Family events in both a leadership and a member role.

Ok when it gets put like that it makes more sense. Thanks for helping me clear that up. I guess in order to be a good leader you must be able to follow and give guidance as well. Thanks again for taking the time to clear that up for me. As you had said it "is" a good system now that I know the purpose of it. Thank you again, i appreciate the clarification.

Think of it like any profession. Once you stop learning you start getting our dated. We want our leaders to participate as well as lead so that they can see things from a followers eyes, learn from other leaders, and actively participate in family events. Teachers must go back to school and refresh their knowledge. Sensei must study under others. All our leaders are expected to be able to follow as they grow as leaders. This keeps us ever changing and updates our tactics so we don't grow close minded. Even I like riding in the backseat when I have time available. Opaline has been blessed on more than one occasion of me jumping in the backseat. I just don't get the free time enough to manage it very often.
