Need help with a Tank build - Please read.

So I have a rogue character that I am goofing around with a little here and there, but I am starting to notice that we sometimes are lacking a tank of sorts for the lowbies on Defiant side. Now I love tanks and have always played them so here is my suggestion on a build.

NOTE: This build is kinda structured around the Lord of the Rings Online - Captain class in mind because that was my favorite to play. Even though some my say (that's not a true tank, Guardian class is), I can tell you that I tanked some crazy mean stuff with my Captain and I loved it all. Captain class was more of a support/tank class in LOTRO.

So with that in mind - what you do guys think of this build?

Whoops.... (Just deleted my warrior tanking related post) /face turns bright red.... I don't know anything about rogue tanking, hehe... Barely know anything about Warrior tanking! But I do know there are a lot of helpful people in the guild and hope they will post here and help with some Rogue tanking advice for you! =D

Reply to Leira about warrior tanking. As for lowbie tank builds you can't go wrong with Reaver. Its AoE aggro and a couple simple macros lets you get through zones without much difficulty while you're still learning. Eventually, once you're more comfortable with tanking, you'll want to branch out. Most tank builds include a little Paladin (maybe 12 points), a little Warlord, or some Voidknight. I use Reaver(21), Voidknight (26), and Paladin (19). Get reaver first, then paladin, then voidknight. It makes you very solid and aggro is easy to manage. As a drawback, I can't dps a moss snake. This is the Tank build I am using for random dungeons from the /lfg system as a new to rifts player http://ciderhelm.com/?p=359 yep Ciderhelms. I use the other roles I have purchased for other soul setups, and change them around often. I've been leveling mostly through randoms so Ciderhelm's leveling tank guide been getting a lot of "testing" and has been performing solidly for me. At higher levels I'll likely carry muliple Tank roles on her, but theres no reason you couldn't do the same now.
