Hides on the requested materials section

On the cloth side we have the bolts of xxxxx and then pieces of xxxx .. since some recipes need 'unrefined' pieces of cloth.

For the hides, whiles its semi unnnatural .. some things on artificer side require hides that have not been converted to leather much like the cloth I reference above.

If its not too much trouble can we add for requested materials some unrefined hide items ... to mirror what is in place for cloth.

I realize the demand will be lesser but it is a required ingredient that may help some artificers level by making the parchments from the raw hide.

We used to have them that way however people were claiming the hides by mistake. Even after i put huge warning text people still claimed the hides and then complained that they couldn't use the materials after the fact. If it's truely needed then I can re-add those but it was a headache and a half when people claim things they needed in the refined form and got it in the raw form. I am very strapped on time right now and can't spend my days correcting people's orders or checking to see if yes in fact you were being careless and ordered the wrong thing. Complaints department this month is closed. :P

Okay I can understand this, and truly my asking was only sometign I noticed being on dside and new a crafter asking for mats .. as stated the demand would probably be very low. The confusion though seems odd since we do it for the cloths and maybe that was just a training issue on using the website from that time. Again I don't wantt to request your time for something with so small an overall guild request list, but since the cloth had both I did have to ask. Thanks again for your time Fog.

Cloth is an odd one. Unlike Leather, Wood, and Metal cloth is needed in Raw form not bolt form. Thus making it much more likely for a person to need the raw form. The ones who end up needing the bolt forms are usually the same kind that can make the bolt form so Outfitters typically wont order Bolts unless it is a specialty bolt they need and don't have access too. Almost all professions need cloth raw. There are only a select few that require bolts.
