Fisrt, I want to thank those who do such an awsome time with leading everything from 5 mans on up. Fog leads a perfect example of what leadership is and should be.

Echota has done such an excellent job in her role on defiant side. And as many of us on the defiant side look towards her and Fog for guidence in our training to beceome great leader as well. We need to look at ourselves.

Leaders in Gaiscioch as I have seen since I joined.
Always patient, calm and encouraging.
Never leaves a man down or behind.
Protects the low levels of our family so as they may enjoy the adventures with everyone.
Does not RUSH to the next target, they "on the defiant side I know" always stay with the lower levels and ensures thier safety if at all possible.
May miss a boss or rift or two, but never complains and seem to have fun anyway!

I commend those who seem to always help the lowbies no matter what capacity they are in. Kudos to those who seem to always stay, escort or protect everyone including those lowbies. Echota, Mira,Ollora,Abbi our Mommies, Jazin, Swiftsure, Onlyone our daddies. Thank you so very much for having those awsome qualities of leadership. These are the ones I see event after event after event, doing the same thing without being asked , with a blink of the eye, they are there to help you along the way. I love my Rift family!!

Thank you Abbi :) I appreciate the kind words. We wouldn't be much of a family without the people willing to follow though :).

Well said! I am always astounded at the number of people in this guild who are willing to step up and lead, and I'm eternally grateful. You all joke about herding cats, but as one of the cats I'm glad you're willing to endure the frustration! Thanks too to the wise acorns of the guild who are always willing to answer my stupid questions with patience and kindness. I always learn more from you than any hundred threads I read on the forums. Thanks for knowing everything! :)

Having recently come into leadership rank myself, I am more than proud to continue the ethics and traditions of such a wonderful guild. Haven't have this much fun in a game in a long, long, time. I can honestly say this guild has me hooked.

I commend you for writing this Abbi - rather than criticize you are pointing out what folks do that's right. So while we are on the subject - let's talk about Abbi and Jaz - they are always at the back helpin the folks who can't keep up and rezzin. I know I absolutely love it when they are on my team. It's really easy to get caught up in events and wanna run quickly to the next objective. But it really works best when everyone sticks with the group - plows the road for the lowbies - and tries as much as possible to arrive together. There have been a couple events where 10% of the folks are helping lowbies and everyone else is rushin to rifts etc. - and those 10% get very little credit for the rift or invasion. Course if you ask them - they will tell you they dont mind - they are usually those kind of people. But they should not have to be. It really does give you a tremendous feeling of comraderie as a lower level person to have four 50's run back to you and ride along side you to keep you safe. Not to mention how good it feels to be the 50 who is helpin. For those of you who dont know -- dont just train thru an area taggin mobs and moving on until they release. What happens is this -- they run back and grab the lowbies who are riding slow mounts behind you. Plow the road -- kill all on the way to the objective. The lowbies will kiss you for the xp -- or spank you depending on how you are bent (warms her paddle). Here is a tip -- EVERYONE - buy a slow mount for family events. You can buy 2p mount at many vendors that does not scale to your fastest mount. This is vitally important for raid leaders. That way we all stay together and work as the family we are.

Great post abbi, and yeah Jaxin was there to escort my baby defiant to a point last night where I of course had no portal to it. I was just gonna run it by myself and soul walk/death spawn to where my unit was, and there was this big ole tank man running me through, and then saying stay here I gotta go back for more! It was pretty dern cool. Unfortunately I don't make many of the family events, but little things like this make me weigh the decision to sleep versus do this stuff ... and I can sleep when I am dead right! I came this guild because my old guild was constantly being negative about this one, and I sent a tell to a Gaischioch member and asked some questions ... next thing you know I was here, and within a few days I had a grip on the website, what was going on there, what the guild stood for and I was totally hooked. So much in fact, I have even promoted another new co-leader in my EQ2 guild and just mostly play RIFT with you guys. I love this guild! I love the folks and their ethics, and I super appreciate those who donate their time, knowledge, and aid to folks on lower toons/new factions etc. YOU ROCK!
