As I've noted before, RIFT is requiring you to log in using your two secret questions, which many people simply answered randomly. This leads to the issue of not being able to access your account, hence not being able to unsubscribe to RIFT. There is a topic about this on the tech thread on the RIFT forums, but it hasn't proven to be of any actual help, seeing that you need to contact Trion through phone (no idea why you can't do this through email.) As noted on the thread, if you are one of the countries on the list, you are then interrogated on your personal information. If you aren't on the list of countries, then you have to call through an international phone. I tried that but I simply got "INVALID OPTION" in reply. So far, the only way to cancel your sub if you don't remember the secret question is to tell your bank to block Trion's transaction, but it's quite a hassle to do that, and by the time they're done I'll have had to pay Trion a month's worth of no gameplay.
