PVP gear...

I really really dont understand at all. I am maxed out on favor, I was gonna buy some p4 or p5 gear (i am into p3). But there are mark of retributions and crystals and all kinds of symbols next to what the item is?

What is it that I need?

Anyone have a linky guide or something? I finally like pvp (or would more if guardians would defend some defiant rifts).

Lets say you already have a R3 weapon or piece of armour that you would like to upgrade to rank 5. You must trade in the rank 3 item PLUS some marks of retribution. You can purchase Marks from the PvP merchents who sell the PvP items. each MoR costs 1600 favor. In order to trade in an item it MUST be unequipped (placed in your bag). I think I have the Feablight shard first on every piece of R7 plate armour and most of the R8 pieces. I have done these upgrades MANY times. Hope that helps ya.

Thanks, It was the whole trade up thing that was confusing me. I didnt have any pvp gear and couldnt figure out how to buy the p3/p4 gear. Finally I figured out I had to buy the lower stuff first (which i find to be really annoying), but at least I kinda figured it out. Now I definitely have to figure out the macro to change equipment Treaa

That part is easy. 1. Set up your character with all your items for the role. 2. write /saveequip 1 (1 - 9 I think) 3. When you want to switch equipment write /loadequip 1
